Great place for kids!
Reviewed By Catherine FWe went here off-peak time and so it was very empty but the staff turned on the installments for us as we needed them and we were looked after. My youngest 8 loved it so much! The pools and the river all the installments are great. We stayed and the room was lovely, modern, air-conditioned and clean, very impressive and I had not expected such high standards so was really pleased. A couple of things I would say are safes in the room would be good, we had no issues at all and were assured our stuff was safe which it was but still I think this would be a good option. 99.999% of the staff were amazing and so helpful however one guy gave very bad service waiting for 1 hour for 2 drinks and another time 40 mins same guy, they should be sure to keep a check on their staff so as not to let the rest down. Food is ok and my eldest was addicted to the coconut batido (smoothie) lovely! They are currently building larger slides etc which is needed as my 12 years old would have appreciated that. Right now the park is geared towards younger children. Happy to see them expanding and we would certainly recommend it, stay and go again - no doubt we will be back!

Small clean convenient hotel
Reviewed By Thomas E EI selected this hotel via the Internet mainly because of its location: in front of the beach where the triathlon in which I was participating was located. My expectations were low as I just wanted a place to sleep from which I could walk with my bike to the starting area on the beach. What luck! The small hotel was not only convenient but clean, with a comfortable queen-size bed, good low-noise producing air conditioner (it's hot in Esmeraldas) and a TV with many channels. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. They loaned me a plug to attach to my cell phone charger. And, they even allowed mine small dog to stay in the room. Across from the hotel is a recently remodeled large plaza and an area facing the beach with several seafood restaurants. Closer restaurants and a few bars do make some noise you have to deal with at night but I slept through the noise. The beach is wide and clean and, being a Sunday, was full of local families.

Reviewed By Bilice06Je suis descendu dans cet hôtel lors de mon étape sur la côte pacifique, et franchement cet hôtel est dans les critères des trois étoiles français, il lui manque juste le minibar dans la chambre. L'hôtel est très propre, le personnel et le patron très sympa et disponible, équipement moderne et fonctionnel, l'endroit est très calmes, les climatisations silencieuses. Et niveau prix, très abordable et correct vu son implantation, et point positif à moins de 500 mètres de la plage. Point positif, un garde de sécurité et présent toute la nuit et fais des rondes dans l'hôtel, on se sent vraiment en sécurité. Franchement si vous tenez à du confort, tout en étant proche de la plage, avec un hôtel propre et abordable dans les prix. Ne cherchez pas ailleurs, cet hôtel est celui qui vous faut. Pour une idée du prix 20$ la nuit.

Reviewed By Inga_K_KA great place to stay! At the edge of village, the hostal is right next to sea – but the village is so small that you can easily walk everywhere. In low tide you can walk on the beach, and on high tide which happens to be at night the sea rolls is and you can sleep listening to it. You can also swim during the high tide right next to the hostal (in other places sea rolls right up to malecon). The room I had was on the upper floor, spacious, with sea view. The bed was comfortable, the shower warm. The breakfast was lovely, now I know what good bolones de verde should taste like. Totally recommended!
