Very modern and romantic
Reviewed By StephanTorontoLocation is perfect in the old town very close to many bars, cafes and restaurants. The Meir shopping street is also near by. The staff is young and super freindly and professional. The reception area and restaurant is very trendy. Rooms are average in size but very clean and equipped with very quality amenities. Real water and wine glasses and not your typical plastic cups. The Breakfast included in my package was very good and fresh. Freshly squissed orange juice, croissants, bread, eggs and ham and cheese. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars ( I would give 4.5) is that I think there are a few things that need to improve in the rooms: 1. There is not enoug storing space for clothes. 2. There is no door or curtain between the bathroom and the bed are. There is a lack of intemacy. 3.In the shower, there is no spot like a ledge to put your soaps or shamppoo. Little things that are easely solved. I would come back.

Reviewed By Leend114Overnacht in Lunatree met beste vriendin. De kamer bestaat uit 2 kamers en dat is een troef. Hoewel met twee, konden we toch elk rustig slapen. Er is een tof terras waar het in het groen, uitstekend toeven is. De badkamer is mooi en uitgerust met een gigantisch bad. Persoonlijk had ik een volwaardige douche kunnen appreciëren, maar dat deerde niet. Goede communicatie en service (bagage mogen achter laten tot afgesproken uur) en lekker ontbijt met veel artisanale producten. Kortom, een aanrader.

Reviewed By WietsevrSuite 11 is undoubtedly one of the best b&b’s in Antwerp. It has everything you need and it is situated in the heart of the city. I have never been so warmly received by the host. I arrived an hour late and the host made no problem at all, and said that I just had to give a signal 5 minutes before I arrived. When I arrived he offered to take my luggage upstairs, since it looked (and was) really heavy. when he showed the room he explained everything and even gave some tips for where I should eat, since I asked for it. I asked him if it was ok if I stayed an hour longer the next day, and again, he made no problem at all. The bathroom was sublime. There were more than enough towels, and it was all very clean. It looked very modern, but not too much. It even had these little extras like shower gel and shampoo. The bathroom has windows but they are way up and not facing the street, which makes it impossible for other people to see you. The bed was very comfortable and clean. You could smell that the sheets were freshly washed. The bedside tables had these odd lamps next to them, they had multiple options for the strength of the light and you could touch them anywhere to turn them on. The kitchen had everything I needed. There was an microwave combi, an espresso coffee machine and a water boiler. the owner leaves a plate with 2 espresso capsules, 2 little bags of sugar, 2 sacks of thee and 2 coffee cream capsules. to make it short, it was one of the best stays I ever had. The host was very friendly and I really enjoyed my stay.

A special Birthday weekend in Antwerp!

Hotel Colvenier was the icing on the cake for what was a very special first visit to the city. The apartment was spacious beyond our expectations, cozy and charming and perfectly sized for 4 people, complete with a second extra bed that we requested. The apartment was also warm and toasty when we arrived, which was much appreciated for a winter getaway. Marta was lovely and even gave us a special tour of the restaurant and hotel while welcoming us! She was also Brazilian, and even spoke Portugese to one of my friends who was Brazilian. We were even lucky enough to have a peak of the kitchen courtesy of the Chef! The location couldn't have been better - and was easily accessible by foot 10 minutes to the city center and all the major shopping districts, restaurants and Christmas markets. We feel so lucky to have found this gem of a hotel and we cannot recommend it enough for anyone visiting Antwerp. Thank you Hotel Colvenier!
