Reviewed By lichinl2017We booked the pool access and the kids’ beds including bed cot were all ready when we checked in. The room was spacious and clean. We called to make up the room early and the staff came promptly. In room food service was fast too. For the swimming pools, there are 3 pools and one of them is for adults only. The water slides, water playground and lazy pool open at designated time. Generally the food was good including breakfast at the floating market. When we were there, breakfast was at floating market, lunch at manta ray and dinner at talay. Also, there was Japanese food stall outside melon minimart.

Reviewed By only_work_4_holidayHad a fantastic holiday all the staff are amazing so kind friendly and thoughtful. Accomodation was fab, had a two bed pool villa for the week. It had everything you could want and was cleaned daily to a high standard. Always staff around they were all very helpful they work so hard to make people's stay awesome and definitely succeeded for us. Never had to wait for anything including a buggy in the rain storm. The hotel was so quiet we seemed to have all the pools both on villa side and main hotel side to ourselves which was a lovely bonus. AI food and drinks good. Can have AI drinks at all the bars (didn't realise this at first) the sun set from the beach bar is awesome! Beautiful walk along the beach in the lovely warm water seeing all the different wildlife! Surf school and rental on site which is great. Hotel has a bus/car service into the town at a reasonable price used the local open back taxi services to return ( a little bit scary at times but what an experience). A short walk away is the Elephant home and we had an amazing time there including a delicious lunch at Memories bar. Fantastic hotel, gorgeous setting, amazing staff with plentiful facilities made an awesome holiday, would love to come back and explore Thailand some more from Apsara!

Lovely hotel on the beach.
Reviewed By Paul SWe asked for a quiet room and we’re given chalet 229 We had a partial sea view from the balcony and could hear the sound of the waves at night. The chalet shares a small pool 4 other chalets and was peaceful during the day. It was a joy to watch the kingfishers in the trees and a monitor lizard wandered past on its way to the beach. The beach is shared with a number of other hotels all of whom try to clean up the flotsam that comes ashore. The waves are strong here. The staff are friendly and efficient and the food is good however we choose to walk into town in the evening where there were two good restaurants, Mojo and Bussaba these are only a 10 minute walk or 100 baht in a taxi. We booked an extra package that included transfers and a cocktail each evening. Well worth the money we paid

A wonderful stay!

We purchased a package through an Australian company called Luxury Escapes, which included breakfast, plus lunch or dinner and one cocktail daily, as well as a 30 minute massage per person. Check in was very efficient, and a buggy took us down to our room, which we had upgraded in the package, We had a private lap pool, our room was 4119, it was great, as it near the end of the rooms, so less traffic, and closer to the beach and lake. Room.... The room was awesome, with universal power points, the most amazing rain shower and huge bathtub in the bathroom. We loved the decor, the massive king sized bed, and the maids did a wonderful job cleaning the room daily, always with a smile on their faces. Airconditioning was wonderful. There are plenty of activities there, kayaks, bowls and plenty of chairs nestled under the trees, before crossing the pontoon to the beach. Food..... Breakfast each morning had plenty of variety. There was a soup station, and egg station (wonderful scrambled eggs) pastries, juices, coffee machine, basically everything you could want, right down to donuts, churros and yogurt. We chose an evening meal each night, at the Beach Bar. The Half Board menu for our package was great! The food of the highest standard. Only complaint was our free cocktail daily (which we chose Pina Colada) was terribly watered down. We would like to make special mention to two of your employees, Kwan and Chok and Shine, who really stood out to us. Massage was ok, but we found turning left at the top of the entrance, walking 20 minutes, and going to the end restaurant/beach bar on the right, was a place called Lanna, got the BEST coconut oil massage, 400 baht for one hour. Also, their Pina Colada's were poured in front of you, and a true Pina Colada! I went back several times for that massage! Our laundry we took to the little blue restaurant turning right at the front entrance, 2 minute walk. 60 baht for a kilo of washing, and that is washed, ironed and folded, great value! Now, just a couple of suggestions which you may want to take on board.... We would love to see a hand rail in the little pool outside our room, we would have used it more, had it had a handrail. Also, the beach after crossing the pontoon, there was a fair bit of litter, suggesting the gardeners also include litter pickup in their job, as it really spoiled the beautiful scenery, seeing plastic bottles and bottle tops and wrappers on the track to the beach. Also, please dont water down the free nightly cocktail,with WAY TOO MUCH ICE. Other drinks were purchased each meal, so that was irritating and cheapskating. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, would recommend to friends (whilst making them aware of the above issues) and would consider coming back.

Checkin was a mess, not able to check in due to luck of professionalism. Bar on roof closes very early for a 5 star hotel Lifts extremely slow too. Room is clean though and specious.

Afterwards I found out that they charged me twice for the stay; once 12th of may (20334 THB) and then again on the 23th of may (20343 THB). I have tried to contact them/you several times but no one write me back. That is really bad service... I liked the stay, but it was not worth the dobbelt price. So if anyone from the hotel reads this - please look into it.
