Reviewed By angusliuI was little untaken by the amenities available by the brand name of Hilton which even lower class accommodations can out perform what I'm paying for. Definitely not happy to say the least. Paying nearly $200/night and they want to charge upgrades to have a bar fridge in my room. How disappointing. ? Room couch was a old 1970s worn out chair. Rugs are old. ZERO USB charger plugs. Who doesn’t offer that in a 2022 room. My other stay during this trip at Comfort Suites and Delta Marriott out performs the Hilton. Garbage for its value.

Our coordinator, Ayah was super helpful and kind. The food and the setup was way more than what we were expecting. Our guests could not finish the amount of food in one night. We also got a complimentary suite for the night which was absolutely amazing!! We wished we had stayed there throughout our entire honeymoon ?. Overall expecting, ????? ten ? We can't wait to go back for our anniversary ❤

Empty promise for crib in the room
Reviewed By MacydingdingdingI’ve booked a night stay at the hotel for the Victoria Weekend. The cost was almost $700 for the night stay and the waterpark package with my husband and two of my kids. When I made the reservation, I made sure I’ve entered a note to have a crib ready and available when I arrive the hotel. I’ve also called a few days ahead of time to ensure that the request was in the system. Before I left my house, another call was made to sure the crib will be available. All the responses I had received from the representative were yes, it would be available. I got to the hotel at 4ish, when I entered the room, no sight of the crib. I called the front desk and asked for the crib. I got rollaway bed and I was told that’s what u have requested. I have a 9 month old baby with me, and I was so disappointed and in distressed. If I knew the crib won’t be available, I could have made my own arrangement. But we tried to make it work, so I asked to take away the frame of the rollaway bed and placed the rollaway mattress between the two queen beds to prevent my son from falling off the bed. I was also concerned about increased risk of sudden infant death syndrome as the mattress of the rollaway bed appeared to be very soft. Then my son fell from the mattress when I was using the washroom, away from him for 2 mins. I tried calling again, but all they could do was to put my name on the waiting list. Fortunately, my friend who stayed at the Skyline Hotel, had provided them with a crib, so they gave us their pack and play for the night. I was told by the housekeeping, that this hotel fits more than 700 hotel rooms, only have 20ish cribs. I rated the experience poor when the hotel asked for a review. A representative has emailed me back and told me a manager would call me to inquire about my experience and that never did happen either. I did like everything else, the room was clean, and view was magnificent. Because of this experience and the fact that they gave us empty promises, I do not want to return to this hotel again; as the price was not cheap and I feel that the customers request should have been more valued.

There is absolutely NO Customer Service and non responsive to any needs. 10AM Checkout. They don’t answer their phones or reply to emails. They don’t even answer the phones internally in the hotel when you are trying to call reception from your room -the only point of contact is at reception, they have people who are only there to check you in or out and process payments only. Inexistent customer service - none. The reason for not answering their phones was “because they are busy” - well WE ARE ALL BUSY. That is an unacceptable excuse. They are well set up to take your money but do not want to talk to you or help you in anyway. I sent an email and left a voice message the day before arrival and they never replied to me. When I asked the manager.. the answer was they are busy, when I asked the restaurant why no one replied I got the same answer - we were trying to move our reservation to a later time and we could not get a hold of anyone for 2 days. They take a credit card to hold your reservation for the restaurant and if you cancel under 24 hours they will charge you $35 for each person, which is completely fine but what happens if someone wakes up the day of the reservation and they are sick? With “Covid” and the new rules we live under are they still going to charge you? The point is someone should be replying to messages and or emails. Very poorly run and managed. So just be aware of how they choose to operate.

Great meals, attentive, friendly staff, and owners, It was obvious that everyone working at the property wanted to ensure a great guest experience. Our room was clean, neat and tidy, and had a comfortable bed. We highly recommend this property! The spa services was a highlight for me, and part of the reason we chose this property. I was not disappointed! The spa is located in a small building with a beautiful view of the lake. Spa staff are wonderful, and the services I experienced were absolutely excellent.

Theft from room
Reviewed By johnnyf583I would have given 4 except for theft. I left a tip for the cleaning staff on the first morning of a two day stay. When I got back to my room the first night the money was gone but nothing had been done in my room. No bed make up, no new shampoo, towels still in tub. I then checked to ensure nothing else was missing and it wasn’t. When I checked out in the second day I asked about cleaning staff and the front desk confirmed that the staff wouldn’t have been in due to COVID restrictions. So I let them know about the $10 that went missing and they chuckled. I let them know that it was theft but didn’t raise a fuss as I wasn’t missing anything else. Needless to say that I extremely disappointed that money was taken from my room. I wasn’t looking for compensation but I did find out that balconies were being painted and people were going in and out of rooms. Not for me to figure out but I would have hoped they might have shown a little more concern. What if it were jewelry.

Amazing Wedding weekend
Reviewed By U7165HHbeckymWe stayed 2 nights for my nieces wedding wedding weekend. Our cabin was Birch and was wonderful, clean and comfy. The hotub was my first stop. Amazing. My adult children also stayed with my 3 year old toddler grandchildren . The resort staff were awesome in accommodating any and all needs for my grandchildren. I have to make a big shout out to Jo Ellen & Aaron, your attention to detail,care & thoughtfulness with Cayde & Amelia was the best. Jo Ellen & Aaron were part of our village that weekend and we all know it takes a village with toddlers. Thank you Trillium for your great staff and accommodations.

Reviewed By L1888FWbryancWe spent 2 relaxing nights at Grand Tappattoo Resort. The location feels very remote and quiet but is only 2 hours from Toronto and 10 minutes from Parry Sound. The facilities and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There is a large heated pool and sauna as well as a fully equipped fitness room. The beautiful, clean beach has many lounge chairs and umbrellas. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boats are available free to guests. All the rooms have a new large screen TV with many channels as well as on demand movies, TV shows The WiFi is fast and reliable. The staff where very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was very fresh and had a great selection. The dining room has a great view overlooking the lake and beach (great sun sets). Dinner menu has a good selection of entrees, appetizers and desserts. We look forward to our next visit!
