A very odd airport motel
Reviewed By PG_LancasterStaying at this motel the night before our flight was a strange experience. Hotel is located very close to Linate airport- had I known that it was right at the edge of the runway and the planes started taking off at 6:30, I would not have booked it. The hotel entrance is nice and the lobby is nice, but then there are stairs up to the room floor. The room corridors are arranged in a strange v-shaped configuration and are kind of grungy with ugly, stained carpeting. When we went to the room, at 7 at night, there were many housekeepers with service carts that were blocking the room entrance. The room itself was nice, very spacious, remodeled with fancy wood furniture. A sitting area with a direct entrance to the outside with an individual , covered carport. The entire motel was warm and stuffy, even though it was cool at night. The A/C did not cool the room and so I did not sleep well. My advice would be to avoid this hotel due to the proximity to the airport and lack of adequate cooling. The breakfast was not great. Staff were good. For dinner, we walked about 15 minutes to an "entertainment complex" with several theme restaurants to choose from. Contrary to their information, there is no free shuttle to the airport.

Knocking Shop
Reviewed By 252mattnOur booked hotel cancelled and we got transferred here. Is basically a discrete knocking shop you can either take a girl friend on the quite or something else off the street. Never been in anything like before you drive and park right at back door of your room where you can park and lower a curtain to hide your car. Rooms are spacious and clean with massive double bed but all fairly basic. Reception was small, clean all guys spoke good English and very friendly. When we told the business people where we were stopping they all burst out laughing?? If I wanted somewhere to take a girlfriend it would rate 5 as very functional and clean and not expensive. However it’s not somewhere I’d stop with family for obvious reasons. Overall it was fine for us and gave us somewhere to put our heads down fine so I’d use again?????

1 night stay - would not recomend
Reviewed By Janko ČExterior of hotel was nice, view from the room was also nice. Parking was big. The problem was the room itself - old furniture, old table, old TV. It would not bother me so much but there was also this stale smell in the room that comes from old furniture and dust. Room was cold, there was AC unit inside but heating it with AC would only worsen the smell and dustiness. Bathroom was to say decent. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was OK at best - some croissant from supermarket and some supermarket cake - I missed some "proper" food - cheesse, salamies, ham, eggs. Breakfast hall was also without stuff present, they offered us coffee 15 minutes already into breakfast. Dinner was good, I liked it. House wine was also nice. The best part of the stay was actually dinner. Stuff was not very frendlly or helpfull. Did not speak English and did not want to help us with invoice - the price was OK but we needed invoice made in a different way which they make us in all other Italian, except here, hotels without problem durring few minutes.

Reviewed By Jeanine SIi's a nice place. Very clean. Friendly staff. It is better to ask for a room at the other side of the motorway because the rooms at the side of the motorway are very noisy. Traffic in the morning starts at 5 o'clock. Breakfast is just coffee and a croissant. Airconditioning is not available in spring so the rooms can be very warm and as you can't open the window because of the noise your sleep is disturbed.

Better than expected and with a good restaurant

Inside, the hotel (which has also a motel) is much more better than what you can expect looking at it from outside. The restaurant is very good and is a big plus if you consider that in the surroundings there is not so much. The other face of the medal is the view, cause the hotel is facing the highway, and the fact that in the night you will see a lot of prostitutes around (somebody can consider it a plus). Anyway the neighborhood is safe.

What a pity/peccato

The biggest problem are the walls and door which are to thin and poor quality and cheap material. You hear people speaking and cannot sleep unless you have your ear plugs! Area is horrible so not recommendable for more than one night.

Owner really Extended his hospitality after giving me directions and we accepted ! I must tell you that it was an amazing view from all over and I have been around to lot of luxurious and not so luxurious stay , and it was amazing , i get that hotel is old and not so update but the owner and the staff makes up for every thing , me and my wife will go their anytime and in my opinion if you compromise glitter and shine things on vacation and replace it with nature , views and smiles you will find a place in your heart for this place !!

Reviewed By Marzia CVery good hotel for those who travel by car, close to Milan city center and to Expo Milano 2015 (Rho area). Very good the ratio quality/price too. The staff is very professional and courteous at the same time, very careful to customers exingencies and needs. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, the cleaning service is excellent: we always have found our rooms tidy and very clean.The hotel has old style decor, but it is very well preserved, however our selection criteria did not includ the style of the furnishing and decoration of the rooms at all, so this feature was not significant for us. Very nice and positive experience, this hotel met our expectations and needs.
