Penzion Manín offers accommodation in 10 loft rooms in a renovated village school built in 1927, set in a beautiful nature of Sulov Mountains, 2 km from national nature reserve Maninska Gorge and only 12 km from town Povazska Bystrica. It features on-site restaurant, garden terrace, free parking and free wifi. The surroundings offer a lot of possibilities for hiking, cycling and rock climbing.

Reviewed By AndrejKeywe spent here 4 nights during Easter, it is situated in a valley surrounded wih beautifull nature. In Walking distance is Kostolecka tiesnava, 30+ minutes Maninska tiesnava and in 2.5 hour of walk you can get to Sulov-Hradna also known by it`s beautifull nature. Accomodation is in duplex rooms, you can add also breakfast and Restaurant is open until 10 PM every day, with approx. 10 kinds of meals to select. Very helpfull and kind Service. We recommend to visit and enjoy it.

Reviewed By isabela2005The hotel is situated under the Beckov Castle with a beautiful view from the restaurant terrace. It is a pleasure to take lunch or dinner outside to admire the nature, to see the castle up on the rocks and to listen hawks or blackbirds. The personnel is very friendly and ready to help you in any minute. The pension has a private parking in a inner courtyard. The restaurant offers very, very tasty food. Not so far from the hotel you can find a small store with souvenirs.

Reviewed By Katarinaa999Velmi mili, pozorni majitelia/ personal, ochotne nas ubytovali po 22hej hodine po telefonickej objednavke, ked sme sa potrebovali prestahovat z ineho zariadenia, kde sme neboli spokojni- a neolutovali sme! Izba velka, cista, komfortna. Neskutocne chutne ranajky. Trosku som sa bala polohy, ktora nie je uplne v centre ale za prijemny pocit z ubytovania to stoji zato- navyse autom alebo taxikom je to aj tak v ramci Pd stale max 5min kamkolvek. Odporucam a dakujeme:)

Reviewed By norberta7373Egy éjszakát töltöttünk itt. Kedves személyzet , tiszta , igényes szobák. Csendes nyugodt környék.Nagyon jó áron kapunk szobát. Az autóval a zárt udvaron lehet parkolni. Nagyon ajánlom. Jó volt itt lenni.

Love this quiet place
Reviewed By Jaroslav TIt's just you and the woods around. Nothing else. No internet, no phone can disturb you here.Just the right place if you need a cosy family guesthouse. The owners will make you feel like home.They are always ready tor help. Pets welcome as well. The rooms are not spacious, but very clean and each with separate bathroom and toilet. Excellent bfast and dinner.

Reviewed By szedrencstvEXCELLENT STAFF :-) KIND, smiling, HELPFUL-HELPFUL-HELPFUL :-) even without Slovak language skills (on our side) they tried to understand and help us :-) CHILD-FRIENDLY place :-) travel bed, small playing room in the restaurant, big playground outside (the best in town!), basketful of sand toys, high chair for eating, half portion etc. Clean room, enough place, comfortable beds :-) Excellent wi-fi :-) EXCELLENT inside wellness, pool with extras :-) Outside pool. climbing wall, beach volleyball, tennis courts, table tennis etc. Breakfast options are limited, but food was good both for breakfast and for dinner ... and they also have daily menu for lunch :-) Only DISADVANTAGE that it is next to a road and a railway line :-( however for us it was an advantage as Boti LOVES trains :-) so he could watch it even from bed :-) and by car it was easy to go either to Bojnice (Bajmóc) which is really near to there (Castle and Zoo), or other place, like MotoMuseum (Novaky, Nyitranovák), fishing lake (Sebedrazie, Szebed) etc. Menu (breakfast, dinner, daily) is available only in Slovak ... BILLA, LIDL and DM is in the town, in easy walking distance :-) TESCO in 20km in Prievidza (Pirvigy)

Dreadful restaurant
Reviewed By OlicananWe only used the restaurant. Food was mediocre, beer was undrinkable, I suspect uncleaned pipes. We weren't offered desert and were pretty much ushered out at 9.00pm because the staff wanted to go home. The whole experience was like we were intruding on their evening.
