Reviewed By Wander25944640343We have stayed four nights at Gulupa Ecolodge and we really loved it! What should I start with… the amazing view over Jardin, the cozy room with a lot of attention to details, the floor made of teak, the calm and to be in nature with many birds around you… the owner Gustavo and his staff are very attentive, friendly, open-minded and they give you good recommendations for activities. You have to try a pizza there, the zipline and the canopy! It‘s s definitely a must to do during a stay in Jardin! The gulupa ecolodge is a really great insider tip in Jardin. If you love nature, private atmosphere, lovely hosts and dogs ? you will enjoy your stay at Gulupa ecolodge. I wish we could have stayed longer ? thank you guys, we will come back for sure!

Nothing to write home about
Reviewed By keepercomingI suppose it serves a purpose as the room is clean, although bare bones and actually has hot water however there are 26 rooms and as Colombians in general tend to do a lot of yelling, there is not as much tranquilidad as some of the other posters insinuate. The grounds, while pleasant are also not as expansive as insinuated. The restaurant has a very limited menu and the included breakfast, while served fairly quickly and wth a pleasant face is nothing to write home about- two thin slices of watermelon, basic eggs and an arepa. Although the location is to my liking, as others have said- just far enough away to be out of the noise of the town but close enough to access everything relatively quickly, I will look for a quieter hostel when I return to Jardin

Great views and perfect location
Reviewed By Hailey FThis is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. There's a river right on site and they're even building a structure right to the side of the river for more available space for guests to relax. There's a jacuzzi, steam room, and a big bath tub for the couple's suite. I loved the nature here and the decorations were so unique and beautiful! So much fruit and flowers and animals, like a nature lovers dream!! The rooms were super comfortable and clean as well.

Naty Luna is a quaint home-away-from-home in Jardin, situated just half block to square and close to many beautiful hikes and waterfalls. If you need somewhere to rest for a while this is the place to be!
Ok but very noisy
Reviewed By Jack JWe stayed here for 3 nights. Initially, we were really happy with our choice. John, the owner, is super friendly and helpful and our room was pretty big. Plus they have a super adorable puppy (January 2020) ! After walking around Jardín, we even decided to extend our stay by an extra day. This meant we stayed in 2 of the 3 rooms available in the hostel. Where the hostel really lets itself down is the amount of noise when you're in a room. It's obviously dependent on the other guests, but we could hear everything in the 2 rooms we stayed in and barely slept the last night (had an early start the next day). The owner should really police this and make sure the common area is vacated after a certain hour so the other guests can sleep. I had to get up at 1.20am to ask people to be quiet. The breakfast is pretty basic too and there was hardly any hot water from the shower. It's a shame as our first impressions were so good but we came away thinking we wouldn't recommend staying here.

Reviewed By Millet02We stayed in a room in a second floor apartment. It was spacious, light, and had a great kitchen plus a seating area with chairs and couches. The room was spacious and nice, as was the bathroom. Only complaint is the bed was harder than concrete, and we both woke up multiple times every night with hip pains because the mattress was so unforgiving.

Just amazing!
Reviewed By David SAfter staying in a backbacker hostel in the centre of Jardin, my wife and I wanted to stay somewhere a little more quiet and scenic that was not too far from town. We checked online and really liked the look of this place and upon arrival we could not have been more happy. The place is stunning and completely peaceful. All the rooms have a balcony with chairs and hammocks which was great. The host, Maria, is probably one of the nicest hosts we have ever met. She could not have been more accomadating or sweet to us. The facilities here are very good. Hot showers, great internet and decent local breakfasts for 10000 COP. The house is very close to some awesome trekking routes and only about 5 mins walk from town. Added to that, Maria has a really lovely dog and cat which have only added to the experience for us. We would highly recommend staying here - You won't regret it. Dave and Jenny x

Pour les amoureux de la nature
Reviewed By laurence6711Trois bungalows au charme suranné perdu dans un écrin de verdure. Deux chambres double dans le bâtiment principal. Les bungalows tout en bambou et bois sont équipés d'un coin cuisine et d'une petite terrasse face à une nature luxuriante. Espace couvert de détente dans le jardin avec de multiples hamacs. Cascade un peu partout ou se rafraichir et culture d'un excellent fruit tropical aux abords...le calme absolu si on fait abstraction du bruit d'eau ! pdj sur demande ainsi que possibilité de diner. Si vous aimez la nature brut c'est la qu'il faut dormir ! Bon wifi dans le bâtiment principal.
