Outstanding stay!
Reviewed By SMJ0907We had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel for 8 nights on a return ski trip to Saalbach-Hinterglemm. The hotel is located in Viehhofen which is a beautiful small village only a 25 minute free ski bus ride in to Hinterglemm which is where we ski. The Zell am See Express gondola is walking distance from the hotel and Saalbach is about 15 minutes on the bus. The hotel is delightful - traditional Austrian decor and our room with a balcony was large, warm and very comfortable. Our half board arrangement was great - plenty of hearty food in preparation for a day of skiing and at the end of the day. What really makes this hotel is the lovely couple who run it. It is clearly a family run hotel, operated with love and a passion for ensuring guests have a good time and their needs met. I had a nasty ski accident during our stay which required hospitalisation and the Eder family could not have been more helpful and kind, going above and beyond. An outstanding stay and highly recommended. We will definitely return!

Reviewed By Coloradoans_12Great location close to Zell am See!! Nice pool, good game room, unit was very comfortable. Floors need to be cleaned more thoroughly between guests. Not sure they are cleaned by anyone other than previous guest, at least that was true four ours. Would be nice to have a kitchen towel & paper towels provided, since dishes are to be washed, dried & put away upon leaving. Restaurant was closed, so a little inconvenient.

Reviewed By lancegustafsonThis new hotel is tucked in the beautiful quiet village of Viehhofen. Away from the hustle of bigger villages like Zell am See. Can quickly get to many of the area hikes and attractions. What make this place special is Andrea and her husband. They are very welcoming, they work hard to provide a nice meal for the guests to start the day everyday. If you have stayed in this area of Austria, this is not Salzburg or Vienna. This is mountain rural Austria. The experience is unique, what makes the stay is your hosts. This was our 4th stay in the area. Andrea and her husband are the best, I really enjoyed our stay here. Great facility, access, parking, property condition, breakfast quality, everything. Awesome, very nice.

Reviewed By neptun123hotel was comfortable, very clean with good variety for breakfast. The biggest positive about this small hotel is the fantastic treatment you get from all the staff. A wonderful break, we will happily go back on our next visit to Zell am Zee. A fabulous two days. Better stay 1 month it is relaxing

Reviewed By Marian ODirect vanaf je appartement met de kinderen naar de ski school skieeen en een beetje vaart maken voor de bus. Als de sneeuw goed is ski je terug naar het appartement. Vriendelijke mensen. S'Avonds spelen se kinderen met de slee voor de deur. Ik vond het super!
