Reviewed By verda0072019Tha family holiday was fine in the San Menaio, the Hotel Pineta was very good, we are satisfied. Good meals in restaurant . Also the sea was fine for family with kids: shallow, warm, with sandy beach. Very good is also that the Hotel has own swimming pool. We recommend it sure.

An amazing place to stay
Reviewed By Anthony DMe and my partner love to stay here and after just returning are planning another stay. The hotels location is in a prime place with a 5 minute walk to the town and a short drive to some of the best beaches in Italy also a short drive to an amazing forest. All the staff in the hotel are amazing any request you have they will cater for your every need Thomas who I believe owns this is always there and makes you feel so welcome. Like someone has previously said in another review you could leave your doors unlocked and without any worries. If any thing can be taken from this review is that the staff are amazing and that visiting this hidding gem in the heart of the Italy lifestyle is a must. Great work to everyone involved. AD & SS

Reviewed By Pawel1973We spent 1 nice week at the hotel Nettuno in San Menaio, on the Gargano peninsula in Puglia, The hotel was not far below the expectations we had from the internet brochure. - The rooms of the main building were OK (maybe a bit too small for 3 persons family) and with fantastic sea view (the railroad between hotel and beach was not a problem as there are only passenger trains and not so often). Problematic was cargo cars on the street (the beach/sea side, there are access door for hotel and restaurant personnel) which starts to drive very early and we preffered to sleep with open window (not with working air-condition). - The hotel personnel don’t speak English unfortunately (only one person and not so good). - the general vacuum cleaner system starts working every day at 8:30 and waked up everyone which was not nice (-----------). - the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and small fridge. - The bathroom size is OK but there are no any shelves so you have to put your cosmetics on the floor (---). - The internet (data transfer) was poor (---). - The restaurant (we were a bit forced to buy full or at least half board) was no more than large white room at street level, without any restaurant atmosphere, service OK but food decent but not varied (everyday the same). The car park (30 meters away from the main building) is uncovered and cars were heated up everyday with the sun. The beach, pretty nice with the sand was golden-brown and fine... as for the water not very clean just ok, while trying snorkeling there were no visibility at all. And the worst, absolutely nothing to do at night, neither the hotel or the "village" had any kind of nightlife... for that you had to drive half an hour uphill to Vico or along the coast to Rodi. If you ever go to the Gargano go straight to the Isole Tremiti where the water is crystal clear (but mch colder than in San Menaio) and the landscape very beautiful or to travel to Gargano Landscape Park or other interesting Gargano cities/places.

A great place for those who search for a simple campsite to relax
Reviewed By ivanamandic23We stayed in mid July for 2 nights and liked this place very much! It is a family-run campsite, basic but clean and it is located in a nice area full of olive trees. The staff is very very nice and helpful and there is also a bar/restaurant on site. It is on a hill, on the way to the sea, so the beach is not that close but with a car everything is easily reachable and the area around it is beautiful! You can visit the towns Rodi and Peschici and some great beaches around, and foresta Umbra is very close too, for trekking etc. We found this part of the coast less touristic in general, but super beautiful. Overall, the campsite is a great value for money, for people who just want to relax. Totally recommended!

Close to the beach, to Peschici and Vico del Gargano. Also our dog Luna enjoyed the stay and the company of Kelly :) Nice walks under the olive trees can be started directly from the house. Sandra and Enzo are really friendly, attentive and full of helpful tipps. We would always go back to them and their cute animals - thank you for your kind hospitality!

A great 3 star hotel
Reviewed By TheBattlePsStayed for 2 nights at the beginning of July. This is a very relaxed but elegant Italian hotel. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and very well kept We were lucky enough to get a room with a small terrace overlooking the Adriatic. The room was a little on the small side but with the balcony it was more than adequate with fantastic views. Some of the fittings are a little dated but everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were very attentive, friendly and relaxed. The restaurant was very good, and good value as well. I was advised by one German guest that it was the best restaurant for a 100 miles and whilst this might be an exaggeration, it was very good. For us, the location was perfect, just a 5 minute stroll to the beachfront but far enough away so that it was very quiet, and in your room rate you have access to one of the beach clubs. The beach was also very nice and not over crowded, but during these Covid days, everywhere was quieter. There was also a large car park with easy access. In summary, a beautiful, well kept and spotlessly clean hotel with friendly service and a great restaurant. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return

From our spacious verandas you can observe all the occurrences that characterize our borough. Also we organize excursions in the fabulous Foresta Umbra in mtb, offroad, walk away.

Reviewed By LeaVolkovThe owner is very welcoming and friendly. The B&B is easy to find, centrally located in a busy street, which is why the private parking comes in handy. The room was nice, spacious, comfortable and everything was very clean. It was also warm enough thanks to the good heating and duvet. Breakfast is a selection of typical italian breakfast pastries, fruit, juice, and cappuccino. The terrace and kitchen which can be used by the guests are really nice, functional, and also very clean.

A very pleasant surprise!
Reviewed By 215kanakWe turned up without a reservation and the receptionists were very helpful in getting us a room. This is really a family hotel but we felt very comfortable as an older couple. The hotel is on the beach (though you have to walk under a seldom used railway line!). Extremely friendly and helpful staff, very clean and there’s even a free flow of beer and coffee! There’s a lot of goodies on tap for kids - drinks, ice cream The deck chairs are well managed and the sea is lovely - sandy & gently sloping. Rooms have air con and comfortable. The Lampadara restaurant is in front on the beach - great place to eat & watch the sunset. Car park is opposite the hotel and open so the cars get hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our two days here.

Camping it's suitable for those who love relaxation and nature, loving and having a dog, I can confirm that even our pet friend enjoyed the stay.
