Very nice hotel
Reviewed By PomarinusI stayed here one night, as the only guest, during the corona pandemic. Checkin was swift once we had agreed on a time to meet up. The room was fantastic, spacious and clean and stylishly decorated. As the hotel was closed no food was available, apart from a packed breakfast, and there is a dearth of restaurants (the ones available catered towards fast food) in the small centre a five-minute walk away. But in normal circumstances there would be a bar and restaurant in the hotel, and judging from the looks of the premises should be good. The surroundings are a bit dull, but I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again as a base for exploring the surroundings.

Good business hotel
Reviewed By T3llicFairly new business hotel right next to the railway station. Somewhat expensive for the experience, the room was a standard one. Being a business hotel, not even a pen or paper was available at the room desk, only one pillow per bed and no closet to hang the jacket. These small details make this hotel quite average. Breakfast was very dull, nothing special. Plus side- the grounds, the view and the building itself was pretty modern and clean, a short stroll to Lake Mälaren might be worth that extra penny.

Birthday visit
Reviewed By karinsF2804ALVisited for my birthday in february -22 and had a lovely stay! Saw and fed the alpackas, had a sauna/hot spa bath with lots of foam in it + beer and snacks, then a super good meal in the pub. Chilled in the small apt afterwards and had a fire lit in the fireplace. Next day we had a very nice breakfast and did the alpacka trek ? This isnt a luxury hotel but a farm - homey, clean, cozy, fun with really friendly staff and good food. I recommend!!!

Great hotel
Reviewed By sophiebearMy self and my son stayed here over 3 days, starff are very friendly and rooms very clean and spacious. Food is awesome and shops near by. Very easy to get to no3 bus from airport to train station and no 11 bus from here or train on platform 4b buy tickets in station.

Renovation overdue!
Reviewed By cmwetzel2018I had a single room, which was really shabby. It should have been renovated several years ago. Old worn furniture, poor bed, bath room with mildew. The bath room was also not cleaned well. Superficially clean, but dirty in the corners. The breakfast was only acceptable not more - poor coffee, soggy bread, variety definitely below three stat level. My colleague had a double room which seemed to be better ( haven’t seen it). The location is not nice at a main street, but easily to access.

Reviewed By McCurlyOn a business trip we ended here with ten people or so for food. The staff was warmly welcoming us, very friendly and not overwhelmed with our big group. Never empty glasses and the food came synchronous. I had the classic: Starter "Skagen", main "Plankstek" and skipped the dessert. The food was well prepared, tasty and of good quality. We had a good evening and I'm sure that I will return, next time. The only downside that time in December. It was a bit cold in there - they could put up the heating more.

Reviewed By KristinL7479090A beautiful little hotel with lovely staff. Very charming rooms and small houses to live in. Kids- and dog friendly and a lovely garden. We miss having a breakfast buffet and would love to visit the bistro (closed for holiday in July).

quaint, clean and friendly - great breaky as well...
Reviewed By thefogmanthe people working for this hotel could not have been more engaging and friendly. from the manager to the hostesses, this was a really pleasant stop in a happy little town. having performed with our group ZED HEAD at an iconic local rockin' pub in sala that night, and after a fairly long flight from toronto, we to a man found the hotel a clean, well run respite for needed rest and a good night's sleep. the beds were comfy albeit smaller than we are used to in north America, the rooms had everything we needed... it was the character and friendly nature of the employees that made this hotel a great stop for us. every member of our rockin' blues band ZED HEAD, were extremely satisfied with the lodgings at hotell tinget.

Disappointing and over-priced
Reviewed By BergquistAlthough our booking confirmation stated that the Reception would be manned until 21h00, we had a call at 17h30 to say that they would close at 18h30. It was fortunate that we (a) answered the call since we were driving and (b) had the forethought to ask whether there was a door code as this vital information hadn't been mentioned! The hotel parking was full (we suspect it is used by local inhabitants as it was almost empty very early the next morning) - seemed to be no control by the hotel. The room was just OK,characterless and pretty basic. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were the smallest I'd ever seen in a hotel. No toileteries. The shower hadn't been cleaned. No water and only 2 teabags provided, one vanilla & the other fruit flavoured, not ideal for early morning cups of tea! There was no staff at the Reception in the morning. No staff in the breakfast room either until a lady arrived after 10 mins or so. No "normal" tea available, until the one last black tea bag was eventually found ! Very poor breakfast compared with what one normally finds in Sweden - no fruit, no hot food, both the soft- and hard-boiled eggs were stone cold. Would definitely not recommend this hotel.
