Need clearly and upgrade. Steer away!
Reviewed By BentOlufsenThis place is peaceful and have a nice river view, but it stops there. The place is in terrible condition and in desperate need of maintenance. The bathroom walls was full of mold, no water in sink, AC did not work, etc. The place is also far from city and have limited services like restaurant and bar.

An Authentic Thai Experience
Reviewed By MondoteenoGreat little place to stay. If you are considering staying in Uthai Thani you are obviously after a different experience. Not many tourists in this town, not much written in English and no taxis or tour buses jamming the streets up. This is a lovely hotel set in a renovated traditional Thai wooden townhouse. Clean, comfortable rooms in a peaceful and very relaxing environment. Right next to an old 'square' with a coffee shop, bar and some great places to eat real Thai food. there are a couple of amazing restaurants within a 5 minute walk, just ask the owner as I cannot remember the names. Breakfasts were Thai style and enormous. If you have no transport, ask the owner who will provide a songthaew and driver to take you to the temples and caves for 1000 baht all day. I highly recommend staying here for a taste of real Thailand.

Reviewed By Kevin SThis accommodation exceeded my expectation. Nice host, good breakfast (included), lots of free coffee, comfy bed and big spacy bathroom. I love the view from the room, overlooking the garden and the lotus pond. Also, this resort is located in an organic farm with plenty of Thai fruits and mulberry plants. So, it was a lot of things to see and experience (mulberry tasting directly from the tree for example). Some things to improve are the weak WiFi and the fruit tree at the parking, where the fruits would drop down on to the cars. Perhaps arrange for another parking would be great.

A quick overnight stop
Reviewed By geordi2009We stopped in this resort for one night, the rooms were a little tired but clean. Breakfast was good and there was lots of choice. The staff throughout the resort were very helpful and friendly. The whole complex was like being in the jungle. There were lots of birds up in the trees and they were lovely to hear. The resort was in a goo location for walking into the town to see the day market. The town was very interesting.

Reviewed By pycmiez_2ตัวโรงแรมไม่ได้อยู่ในเมือง ต้องขับรถออกมา ถ้ามีรถจะสะดวกในการเดินทาง เพราะว่าไม่มีพวกร้านสะดวกซื้อหรืออะไรใกล้ ๆ ต้องใช้รถตลอด โรงแรมมี 2 ชั้น ด้านล่างเป็นล็อบบี้และที่รับประทานอาหารเช้า ห้องพักมีทั้งชั้น 1 และชั้น 2 ในห้องพักค่อนข้างกว้าง ทั้งห้องนอนและห้องน้ำ มีพื้นที่เยอะ แต่มีปลั๊กไฟค่อนข้างน้อย มีน้ำดื่มให้ 2 ขวด พวกของใช้ในห้องน้ำมีชุดเดียว (สบู่ แชมพูที่ให้ฟรี) ผ้าขนหนูมีให้ 2 ผืน ไม่มีไดร์เป่าผม แต่สามารถยืมจากพนักงานข้างล่างได้ พนักงานบริการดี โดยรวมโอเค เหมาะกับการพักผ่อนแบบประหยัด

Absolutely Wonderful
Reviewed By Cathie DWhat a wonderful experience it was to stay here. We were a group of 2 couples (4 Adults) we had two rooms – one with a Queen size bed and another with bunk beds. Beds were firm, as is the norm for less expensive accommodation but this place isn’t about the bed, it is about the location and the experience of staying on the river. Everything was lovely and clean, breakfast was provided, and you got a choice of Chicken or Pork (perhaps vegetarian also). In the morning the breakfast arrives fresh from the markets in little packages, with all sauces and condiments you need. Everything about our stay here was fantastic and felt so authentic. The air-conditioning in the rooms was excellent. Fans were provided for in the open lounge area and nets all around to keep the mosquitos out at night time. There was a 7/11 within short walking distance and local markets very close by to get all sorts of local foods.

Im Urwald leider die härte der Matratzen tödlich
Reviewed By ernstbeelerDas Romyen House ist sehr versteckt im Wald. Es hat keine Betten mit 2 Matratzen oder 2 Betten und wenn ich richtig gezählt habe nur 3 Bungalows. Die Betten resp. die Matratzen sind so hart, dass ein Rücken operierter hier kaum ein Auge zudrückt. Die Duschen und WC befinden sich auf 2 m2 was das Ganze nicht sehr beweglich macht, besonders für Leute die über 40 sind. Dann hat es Moskitos im Wald ohne Ende, keine Moskitokerzen vorhanden man bekommt einen Spray. Im Kühlschrank hat es 2 Flaschen Wasser das wars dann aber auch schon. Die Bettdecken haben einige Flecken, schade. Dann da keine Abschrankungen kommen irgendwann einige Hunde dazu, die wissen wollen was hier abgeht. Keine Abwehr Möglichkeiten. Man fühlt sich hier besonders mit seiner Frau nicht besonders sicher. Es wäre ein wunderbarer Ort, wenn man diesen bequemer und sicherer machen könnte etas Sicherheit gegen den Wald wäre von Vorteil. Die Besitzer sind jedoch sehr sehr angenehm und Liebenswert.Wir verliessen den Ort noch am gleichen Abend weil wir uns nicht ganz sicher fühlten und stets von Moskitos geplagt wurden. Die Winzigkeit der Dusche und der Toiletten waren bestimmend. Diese Destination ist wohl eher etwas für Big Packer oder Jugendliche.

Beautiful surprise in the middle of rice fields.
Reviewed By Marcus DOn our way south from northern Thailand we were surprised by this beautiful quiet place surrounded by nature and rice fields. The bungalows are spacious with a comfortable bed, sitting area and TV/fridge. Two verandas invited for nature views and relaxed time spent outside. The people are very friendly and made us instantly feel welcomed. You will need your own transport though, as there is no kitchen on the premise, the next town with restaurants is a 10km drive, small store 3km.
