Ma Chère has the best pastries in town by far. They stand out from the other shop with their cheesecake, panna cotta and tiramisu for example.
Not only do they make small desserts they also make cakes for any kind of celebration. They can adapt the decoration to the situation.
They serve great beverages from the average cold coffee to frapped fruit drinks. My favorite refreshment is their banana milk.
The staff is always smiling and always friendly and their English is good enough to help foreigners.
At this moment they are doing some renovations, and the place is starting to look very clean and cosy. They have an airconditioned room where you can sit and have your dessert and or coffee and relax. In front of the shop there will be a terras.

They are sooo kind! Breakfast and shakes are made with so much love! Price-performance ratio is right!! Actually a small shop with souvenirs and spirits, with only one big table and a shake stand... but I'm thrilled :))

Consultes TA and decided to go to the #1 rated restaurant.
Cosy place, with a nice garden restaurant right at the river side.
All menue available in Thai only and the pictures were not really helpful.
Fortunately one waiteress spoke some words in English - so we at least managed to get authentical and local food - delicious...
Good to know: the restaurant is not serving any alcoholic beverages - but you are allowed ro bring it with you...there are some some shops where you can buy alcohol in down town.
We missed that information so we just got bottled water
