So room rates have been slashed to get bums on (comfortable) beds, hoping they will eat and drink at the great Mexican-Thai-American restaurant It worked for me. Very comfortable room with fan 3/4 fridge and air-con. Hot water and lights all worked. Strong wi-fi. No coat hangers in the wardrobe was the only blemish. Great staff especially Aimmy. Highly recommended. They don't do breakfast anymore, Just go for a little walk. Hey this is Thailand.

Reviewed By BangoeWe only visited here for dinner as we unfortunately already had checked in at other resort. Not many customers during this time but they served us a great dinner. They were even kind to prepare some special food for us that was not on the menu. That's what I call customer service.

Lack of Effective Airconditioning makes the stacked Black Metal Shipping Container style bedrooms stifling hot
Reviewed By Fireball14017We booked for 4 nights and we arrived and booked in. They showed us to our room which was effectively a metal box similar to a shipping container perched above the swimming pool. It looked interesting but it was very very small inside. Because of Thailand heat it has to be said it was stifling hot inside. It was unbearable. There was a small air conditioner mounted on the wall which we switched on full and waited 1/2 an hour. There was hardly any cold air coming out of it at all even in the lowest setting. We were both stifled with the heat. It was even worse in the small adjoining toilet/shower. It didn't smell clean we noted. Because of the lack of proper air conditioning we decided not to stay any longer as it was so uncomfortable locked in the small metal container room. We asked for our money back but we had to pay 900 TB for the night we didn't stay in. The Thai manager didn't accept that the air conditioner wasn't up to the job at all quoting me how many BTU's it was supposed to throw out. The fact was that the aircon didn't do the job of cooling the tin box room down making it very uncomfortable to be in. We tried the restaurant food before checking in and it was typical Thai Isaan cuisine which we liked and sitting on the pontoon by the Mun River was a nice experience eating our lunch. We would loved to have stayed and seen the beautiful sunsets here but the Accommodation simply wasn't up to scratch to be anywhere near the so called bedroom which was a effectively a tin box that held the heat equipped with a cheap ineffective aircon unit.

Le fils de la patronne nous a indiqué les temples et sites touristiques à voir dans La région, ce qui était vraiment bien car un temple merveilleux n’était marqué sur aucune de nos cartes et il était absolument à voir.

A very nice hotel at in great location
Reviewed By Nol PI just stayed there with my father at this small but charming hotel. It is by the Mekong river not far from the confluence of the Mun river and therefore we can easily spot the two color river. The room is not big but is well equiped and nicely decorated. There's not many facilities there as this is a very small hotel. There is one small swimming pool, which is very well maintained and I used it alone in the afternoon and in the morning. I also tried swimming in the river as well and it is quite a new experience. It is unfortunate that we didn't have a chance to have dinner there, which must have been very nice to eat while seeing the sunset on the Mekong. The hotel provided good breakfast for us. The owners are very hospitable and respectable people. I hope I would have a chance to stay there again.

Clean and value to money
Reviewed By phumjitClose to market, 7-11, not too far to walk to Kong river. Breakfast is easy , it go with boiled rice, coffee , bread. You are recommended to walk to market to buy your favorite food and have them in the hoyel's restuarant.

Lovely intimate old Thai style hotel
Reviewed By _B7103TZThis lovely little hotel consists of only 6 rooms. All the rooms (terraced houses) have a direct view to the lake. Directly outside the rooms there are tall trees and flowers, where you can enjoy your morning coffee and cake outside at a little table and also enjoy the splendid view of the lake. The owner is a very kind old granny who will do her best to accommodate you and make you feel welcome. Rooms are a bit small and furnished with old Thai wooden furniture. Bed mattress is a bit to the hard side. The hotel and the furniture and the tv and the aircon/ fans are not new, but it all has character and atmosphere. Bathroom is clean and basic with a shower and a toilet. The hotel has actually changed its name to Rimthan View Resort. There are restaurants and cafe’s nearby along the lake. We experienced no noise issues during our stay and had a good and quiet night.
