A neat experience
Reviewed By LarryandTimThis property is very very secluded - down a long dirt road in the middle of a vineyard. The property wasn't maintained to the standards that we are used to with Marriott, but we had a great room with a view on the large vineyard. The breakfast was sufficient. Staff was friendly.

Wonderful place with good wine and awful food

I have ordered a Greek salad that was everything but greek… raisins instead of olive, provolone cheese instead of feta. My husband ordered a ravioli that was thick and badly cooked. The desert was a creme brûlée that had more sugar than anything else. In summary, it’s worth visiting but don’t plan to eat anything in the place.

Hosteria (Hotel) Don Romulo; It is located in Almirante Brown 1200 street three blocks from the bus terminal and a few blocks from downtown and the casino. It is a typical place with ornaments of Argentine gauchos with meals of the place, peaceful and comfortable to vacation with family. We make excursions to the mountain with horses and roast, with Tupungato wines.
Riding in the mountains
Reviewed By Candi WWhile the Don Rómulo hotel is average and the bedrooms and bathrooms definitely need renovating, the courtyard area was very pretty and location conveniently central. The reason for our trip to Tupungato was to go riding in the Andes, and that was a wonderful experience. Everything was organised by Rómulo and his brother Remo. We were driven by Rómulo to the Refugio where Riccardo had the horses waiting. We headed off with both of them on our Criollo horses ... sure footed and strong ... marvellous. I trusted the horses completely and Rómulo and Riccardo took very good care of us. We were treated to some beautiful views, interesting vast country ... and a wonderful asado lunch prepared by Riccardo and his wife on our return. Highly recommend this adventure ... ask about crossing the Andes to Chile on horseback :-)

Muy cordial atención y experiencia. Kids friendly sin perder el romance para parejas, cercano a bodegas y con batería servicios que puedes solicitar de manera tercerizada, tales como alquiler de bicis y caballos. Hermosa infraestructura y diseño simple pero con muy buen gusto. Estómagos grandes y acogedores... MUY COZY!! Seguro ser me recaía algo pero los invito a hacer su otros experiencia y luego me cuentan.

Reviewed By Sarah PThis was our favourite hotel in Argentina. It's beautifully designed and super clean. Nestled away behind a vineyard. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are huge, with a double bath tub. Beds super comfy. The staff were brilliant and went out of their way to make us feel at home. We would definitely return!

Excellent hotel to stay a night
Reviewed By YS KStayed here overnight before heading into wineries. Very clean and well kept hotel. Staffs are friendly and very accommodating. We paid little over $50 US dollars and excellent deal for money. There is a supermarket less than half block away, which was a huge plus. Also, it is not far from the main strip.

Reviewed By SilviagdrCreo que así deberían llamarlo a este sitio. No se por donde comenzar a narrar la desagradable experiencia que tuvimos cuando quisimos alojarnos en ese lugar. Estuvimos perdidos sin nadie que nos de indicaciones para llegar al lugar, que está adentro de una especie de barrio cerrado. Los dueños de viaje, y el encargado sin tener la menor idea de como resolver ninguna situación. Habíamos solicitado dos cabañas juntas, dado que viajabamos dos familias amigas. Literalmente estaban una en la punta de la otra. La cabaña que nos tocó en suerte no estaba equipada con nada, ni platos, ni cubiertos. El anafe estaba aún en la caja sin instalar. En el jardín que tiene adelante se dejaron los pinceles de obra. Un desastre. Marcharnos a esa hora no era una alternativa, dado que ya era de noche, llovia y el puente que había que cruzar era intransitable. El encargado para tratar de sosegar la situación nos invita a cenar, también quizas a modo de compensarnos de alguna manera. Al otro día temprano nos fuimos a otra posada, ellos transferirían el dinero que nosotros les habíamos abonado directamente a los dueños de la nueva locación de estancia. Para total sorpresa (no grata) nos habían descontado de nuestro pago la cena que previamente nos había insistido el encargado que fueramos. Unos impresentables. Precios exorbitantes para cero servicio.

Reviewed By DtajmanExcelente atención . Lugar lindo , rodeado de viñedos , para desenchufarse de la ciudad , con solo 2 días alcanza . Hotel con 7 habitaciónes , sin TV . Un excelente lugar para recomendar y hospedarse Buen desayuno y muy buena cena de pasos lo mismo q el almuerzo. Excelente calidad los vinos.
