In addition to half board plus (extensive breakfast buffet, afternoon refreshments and in the evening a 5-course menu), there was also a well-catered BBQ theme party on Sunday. Nice swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Beautiful sauna area with plenty of privacy. Free Nassfeld +card for free use lifts in the area. Garnitzenklamm is a must do but be careful with small children. Some parts is hanging from steel cables to be able to follow the path.

The Arena Franz Ferdinand Nassfeld is directly located at the Millennium Express in the ski- and mountain-area Nassfeld. The active hotel has 144 rooms, of which 60 are spacious family rooms ideally equipped for the needs of active summer- and winter-sportsman. Families feel at home as couples do. There is enough space to be side by side and with each other in an uncomplicated manner. Besides a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi, all rooms offer a spacious sport space, where the whole sport equipment can be stowed easily. A varied culinary offer with various regional specialities from the Alpe-Adria-region as well as a lounge area with bar make the Arena Franz Ferdinand a place to come together. Our lifestyle hotel offers the highest climbing wall in a hotel lobby with a height of 15 meters. On top of that we have a boulder wall and an ample indoor playground.

Reviewed By Martina ŠThis was our second stay at this hotel and both times we were thrilled! A very original and modern hotel, ideally located a short walk from the main cable car. Very nice staff, specially the red haired lady at the reception (unfortunately I didn't catch her name). Each room has a room for storing and drying ski equipment. There is also a sink in this room and a door to the toilet. Another door leads to the bedroom where there is a comfortable bed and plenty of space to store things. From the bedroom there is a door to the shower room. The hotel restaurant offers a wide range of food and everything is very tasty. The hotel also has its own bar, two saunas, climbing wall, etc. Slight cons that if removed/improved would make the stay even more enjoyable: - The shower only runs off the wall and if you shower a little longer it leaks into the bedroom. I would have appreciated a hand-held shower hose where the water could be better regulated. - Given the large number of visitors from the Czech Republic, I would appreciate at least one or two Czech programmes on the TV. - The restaurant often lacked descriptions for the dishes. - Tap water for dinner could be free. - The hotel has a total of 4 dry saunas and 2 steam rooms. The dry saunas are all the same. I would have appreciated if some were heated to a lower temperature or somehow scented. The steam sauna is more of a humid hot sauna. I didn't see any steam in there. Anyway, despite these shortcomings, we enjoyed our stay to the max and will definitely be back again.

Reviewed By valdothebirdThis is very nice, not too big hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The manager is all the time going around and trying to help. The food is very good, with lot of choice and specialities. There is a big playing room for children of all ages.

Der Tröpolacherhof Hotel & Restaurant is located in the centre of Tröpolach, only 300 m from the Millennium Express Cable Car leading into the Nassfeld Ski Area. I found this hotel perfect located just 5 minutes walking distance ( in skiing boots :) ) from the main Nassfeld lift “Millenium”. Room was 4 stars standard with taking a lot of care of details. Very clean and comfortable with a lot of space and warm wooden elements. Bed very comfortable and nice balcony with view on mountains. All people working here are very helpful and You really feel somebody is taking care of You, of Your comfort and satisfaction. The kitchen and restaurant is another great story here. Breakfast is very good with a lot of choice and only fresh ingredients. If anything is missing You can just ask for and if only possible You will get it. Restaurant’s food is great balance of “home” fresh quality and 4 stars restaurant’s way of serving. Deserts are marvelous and prepared with a piece of arts. Relaxing part of the hotel offers steam and fin sauna fully warmed before, with nice showers area and cold water pool as well hot-cold foot treatment place. Again - very clean and details care prepared. All in family hotel mood and full professionalism. Absolutely recommend and hope to be back in the future ! My Best Regards and see You again.

Reviewed By BoardingPass106025Very friendly athmosphere and staff in the restaurant. We didn’t choose a traditional Austrian meal but it was really delicious and the portions were big enough. There is a separate salad bar where you can choose your salad and it is really tasty.

Gli appartamenti sono molto puliti a pochi passi dagli impianti di risalita del millenium express. Siamo stati molto bene. Un saluto speciale alla mascotte di casa Benny, un simpatico Chihuahua, il vero padrone di casa ?

So first , the hotel is very nice and family Zerza is great, You can see how devoted are all of them and we felt like we belong to this family ! They are very kind and very very hardworking and you can see it in the hotel .It is very clean and tidy, The breakfast is also really great ! It has free parking, free wifi , it is warm inside and everything works great. It is not so far from the Milenium ski lift . It is very convenient that you can leave you ski and boots etc in the locker on the start of ski lift, Also Gerhard provided to us discounted prices for the lockers and ski pass. Skiing was great also. There are few restaurants in the town, They are all good . If you stay in the Zerza you will get 10% dicsount for one very good restaurant in the city. Ther are also one supermarket , and bakery , few sports shops. ski rent also. Very near is little bigger city Hermagor with few bigger supermarkets and shops. The only thing that I did not like and not talking about Zerza Hotel and family , is that in the shops and restaurants even if you speak English language , since you do not know German, people continue talking German , and you see they understand you, but they talking German even you do not know and understand their language. But with help of the hands and you speak English and they German , somehow we managed to understand most of . So again everything vas just great and we will come again!

Reviewed By MatejuseThis family gasthof is an old place in Tropolach where the history was written in Karnten. You can find here a very friendly family with the best Karnten cuisine. You can taste home made and home grown meat from several animals. It is quite close to the Nassfeld cable car (approx 300 meters). The downtown of Tropolach is 500 meters and you can find a small grocery and gas station here. Gasthof has a roof in the back yard, so you can place your bike or car during bad weather. I would recommend this and I hope I will be back soon.

Super Frühstücksbuffet, sehr nette Vermieter. Sehr zu empfehlen. Zum Essen Gasthof Durnthaler sehr empfehlenswert - frische Küche, sehr nette Gastgeber und Service.

Appartement dierekt an der Piste.
Reviewed By Jens WUns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Appartment hatte eine super Lage an der Skipiste und man benötigte nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Wohnung war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und man hatte alles was man braucht. Auch die Familie war sehr nett und hat uns jeden Morgen nach Wunsch frische Brötchen vorbei gebracht. Wir können es auch Familien mit Kindern nur empfehlen,weil der Bauernhof auch Tiere besitzt und man fast immer in den Stall durfte um mit Katzen Pferden oder Hunden zu Knuddeln. Wir fanden es perfekt!
