Nice place to stay

We even got moved up 1 floor when booking from our original booking. Beds are very comfortable. Lots of bathroom supplies for all your needs. If you need more, they will provide. We didn’t use the pool or gym, but looks very clean from what I saw. Only real problem was in our bathroom, a minor issue, didn’t warrant a complaint, but in future should be watched for. Around base if toilet could be cleaned better, and the fan looks to have been cleaned in some time. (See pictures) The view of the harbour is amazing, and you are located to pretty well anything you will need or want to do. Only other issue I had is I thought breakfast was included with our room, but found out it wasn’t. If you want breakfast with your room varify at booking. Overall I would stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Locked out!
Reviewed By yup yEach key i was ever issued by them did not work for me.(nothing by them just in my bare pocket). I was locked out each time i tried to go anywhere. I was locked out 45-1hour. I am into Day2 and yes i had to change keys again. So don’t try sneeking any “hot dates” through the side doors . Not sure why, but it looks like a high employee turn over rate. All new faces. Perhaps it will be better tomorrow.

We enjoyed dinner two evenings at Trio Restaurant in the hotel, the food and the service was great! We would highly recommend Cambridge Suites for your home away from home! Absolutely delightful!

Tired building but lovely staff
Reviewed By nrocho688461I think we were supposed to ask for the rooms to be made because in the four days we were there, no one came to clean or empty the garbage in either of the two rooms we booked. The staff was always very pleasant and friendly. It's just the building that's tired. Oh, and the billing process is way too complicated. There were four transactions to my card. As the reception staff was explaining to me, I could hear the other young lady on the phone having to explain it all to someone else. We weren't the only ones confused. The staff must waste a lot of time having to explain the billing procedures that the Travelodge company decided to go with. The breakfast was bagged and easy to get from the reception area. As mentioned earlier, the staff was always lovely! :)

Very Decent Motel
Reviewed By tshep42Clean, large room with all the amenities you need. Good location along King Street, short drive to downtown. Friendly staff. Very nice breakfast you pick up and take to your room. Coffee & tea always available. You can drive up to your room but it doesn’t do much good as they’re no keypads on the patio door to come in & no way to lock it on your way out. No other luxuries at the hotel like a gym, pool, on site restaurant, etc.

Reviewed By jessica dStaff are the only thing good about this place. I was put into the basement in room 121.. it was filthy. There was dust everywhere, the floor was not clean, the paint was peeling off the windows and walls. There was a lot of scuff/dents in the walls.. Got moved into another room downstairs which was a lot nicer looking but it was damp and smelled foul like mold I immediately had allergic reaction. The floors were filthy and under the bed had dirt and grime under it.. the bedskirts had stains I was afraid to sleep bc I thought I would see a mouse in my room. The damp musty smell kept me up all night I had to spray body mist to try and freshen the room. Pack allergy pills and allergy eye drops if you get out in those rooms. I got moved into room 206 this one was better and not damp or foul smelling. The air conditioner needs to be cleaned bc there was a lot of dirt in it. If you stay here bring your own water and snacks. They have a vending machine but no ATM to take money out. I had to use Skip to get water delivered.. There restaurant is closed on Mondays and they don’t have a liquor license so you can’t get a drink after a long day.

Reviewed By rohitwadhawan96rooms were well maintained , clean and well ventilated with centralized heating in it. i have stayed there for three ceaseless days and had a great experience there, main part was the location it was so great as one can have riverfront view from the rooms itself. management there is also nice, polite and helpful as well. i met manager , kashish there who is a great person and so helpful as well.

This is the dirtiest motel I’ve ever stayed at.
Reviewed By J0ann67The first room they gave us stank of stale cigarettes. The 2nd one smelled cleaner but was no less filthy. I cleaned the front door and light switch, both were disgusting. The dresser was full of a previous traveller’s clothes. The shower is a dribble. The floors are sticky, if you intend to stay here bring cleaners and slippers! However the front desk staff were pleasant, reassigned our room no questions asked, brought over a blanket as there was no heat in our room, and cleaned out the dresser right away. We won’t be staying here again.
