Hospitality at its best
Reviewed By RonnyCsAs a family of four with teenagers we spent a couple of days at the Wehlener Hof. We have been to quite a few of places before and can only repeat what others have said about this hotel and its hosts. They are one of the most caring and friendliest hosts you can have. Whether it is about restaurants, hiking tips, changing the table at breakfast etc they treat you with the utmost and honest service mentality. Rooms are spacious and nice - nothing particularly special but very clean and modern. Mattresses too soft for my liking but the rest of the family was ok. Needless to say that Stadt Wehlen is a pretty village and the surroundings just fantastic for walking and hiking. We surely come back.

Lovely hotel, great location
Reviewed By Michael WWe spent 3 days in the hotel and really enjoyed it. The location is really great, entrance from the old market square and the super view from the restaurant and our room to the river Elbe. The breakfast is very good with lots of food from the local area, we had dinner twice in the restaurant and everyone was happy with the freshly cooked meals. You better reserve a table for your dinner as the restaurant gets booked during the day. As the name suggests there is a pasta manufacture inhouse, you can buy pasta at the reception. transport: you can easily take a ferry across the river and board a train or travel by ship to places like Rathen, Königstein, Bad Schandau

Reviewed By Vicki BWe stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the location with view on the river Elbe. It was clean, quiet and close to everything. We strolled along the river into the village for dinner and back. During the 2 days we were there their restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner, however they usually do serve both. They have nice outdoor seating in the garden as well. They serve a very nice breakfast buffet with many options every day.

Sauber, klar strukturiert, dennoch liebevoll - vor allem das Frühstück - und romantisch.Besonders "schnuckelig" sind die drei bunten Stübchen. Praktisch eingerichtet mit Blick auf die Elbe und dennoch sehr geschmackvoll! Selbst das Auto durften wir für eine geringe Gebühr noch einige Tage auf dem Parkplatz sicher stehen lassen. DANKE! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

great place for staying
Reviewed By Gleb Pi stayed at the this spical guest house as i was hiking along the Malwerg trail. this is a spical guest house with option for doorms, private room and camping at the yard. i did the camping and it was very convinent as i couls use the shower (hot water) and the kitchen with no extra payment. the place is clean and neat. at this place i met Sven that run the bar in front of the guest house. beside that he has a great little bar on the top of the village where you can get a great view. he helpd me a lot and got from him much unformation about the hike. my stay at this place was so nice and full with good vibes that i desided to saty there for a nother night at the last night of the hike. dearch for the beer garten brown sighn and you will find a nice guest house, lovely bar and warm hospitality.

Unser 2016, nach mehrjähriger Modernisierung eröffnetes Hotel-Garni ( ohne hauseigenes Restaurant), liegt direkt an der Elbe. In Stadt Wehlen am Rande des Narionalparkes. Wir sind ein Familiengeführtes kleineres Haus, das Wert auf Ruhe und Qualität legt. 5 unserer Zimmer haben Balkon oder Terrasse mit direktem Elbblick. Bis zum Stadtkern, der Kirche, der Fähre und der Tourismusinformation sind es ca 200m. Unser Haus verfügt über einen barierefreien Zugang, Fahrstuhl und ebenerdige Duschen. Neben einem hauseigenen Parkplatz, direkt am Haus bieten wir unseren Gästen eine Liegewiese und einen schattigen Platz zum sitzen im Garten mit Blick auf die Elbe und die vorgeifahrenden Schaufelraddampfer . Unser Frühstücksbuffette bereiten wir nach Möglichkeit und Verfügbarkeit aus regionalen Produkten. Der neu eröffnete Wellnessbereich läd auch an kühleren Tagen zu Infrarotkabine , Paarwhirrlpool und Sauna ein, dannach entspannen Sie im Ruheraum( mit Blick auf die Elbe) , auf der Wärmeliege. Ein Aufendhalt mit Haustieren ist in unserem Haus nicht möglich.
Wunderschönes Hotel an der Elbe

Wir wurden herzlich von der Inhaberin Frau Teumer empfangen und waren sehr angenehm von der liebevollen Ausstattung des Hotels überrascht. Unser Zimmer (203) mit Blick auf die Elbe besaß eine sehr große Terrasse, welche man in den Sommermonaten wunderbar nutzen kann. Das angebotene Frühstück war einfach nur traumhaft und selbst der Kaffee schmeckte ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel besitzt auch einen Fahrstuhl sowie einen großzügigen kostenlosen Parkplatz im Hotelgelände. Wir können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Zentrale Lage, sehr nette Vermieter, top Preis
Reviewed By Matthias KWir sind für 5 Nächte in der Ferienwohnung mit Kleinkind gewesen. Die Wohnung ist sauber, zweckmäßig eingerichter und liegt sehr zentral in Wehlen. Laufzeit bis zur Bastei ca. 1.15 Stunden. Mit dem Auto bis Dresden ca. 45Minuten. Es pendelt eine kleine Fähre über die Elbe zwischen den beiden Stadtteilen. Eine Einzelfahrt kostet 1.50Euro, hin und zurück 2.40Euro pro Person. Das Essen in der Nudelmanufaktur kann ich nur empfehlen, nocht von den unfreundlichen Bedienungen abschrecken lassen.

Problems with them!
Reviewed By 20GG17We booked the accommodation for 14 nights/4 people . After our co-workers arrived at the destitantion, they found out that the rooms were smelly, there were no lights in bathrooms, not even locks, no wi-fi. On the spot they told the owner that they don't want to stay in that accommodation (slept just 1 night as it was to late to find another accommodation) and were told to conntact Booking for refund. As mentioned before, only 1 night the rooms were used and cancelled immediately because of the poor quality, but the provider of the accommodation refused any kind of refund. As we paid 1145€ in advance, at least 50% refund would be resonable (and fair), but they didn't want to cooperate. Trully sorry that I have to write that kind of review but be careful while booking and I sincerely advise you to avoid that place (there are plenty other appartments around). I am also very dissapointed by responces of Booking as they are not helping all.
