The surrounding scenery is pleasant, and the course looks challenging. The restaurant is top class for dinner, and perhaps is the best in Sweden for breakfast.

A nice surprise in Skövde
Reviewed By ScandinavianvagabondCharming little hotel with less than 100 rooms. This means it is not too crowded at meal times. Evening meal and breakfast was up to standard and the receptionist did a good job to juggle the restaurant and reception at the same time and with a smile. Room was charming too but it may need to be time for some light love and care, a light bulb was missing in the hallway light for example. However, seen to value for money they deserve a high mark!

Reviewed By Patrik LDuring my second week for business in Skövde I was moved to this hotel after having stayed the first week at another one in the city center. I wasn't too happy about that, but after arriving and realizing it was only 500 meters further away and that the room was really great I quickly changed my mind. I loved staying there. There is also a pizzeria with a great menu just around the corner and a grocery store a couple of blocks away.

Pensionatet har 12 rum i olika storlekar med totalt 26 bäddar. De är fördelade på enkel, dubbel, trebädds och fyrbäddsrum. I Pensionatet finns även matsal, bibliotek, sällskapsrum med öppen spis. I vår stora trädgård finns goda möjligheter till avkoppling. Pensionatet har ett spabad där man kan njuta av bubblorna i vattnet eller varför inte ta ett parti Boule på våra Boulebanor. Kommer man med husbil/husvagn går det bra att stå på våra ställplatser.

Reviewed By Björn RPrisvärt, nära flygplats och motorstadion. Fina rum, wc och dushar i korridor. Alla var nyrenoverade o fräscha. Matsal o bibliotek för mat och frukostbuffé var gemytliga, lite herrgårdsstil. Några av korridorerna står på tur för renovering. Nya ägare sedan 1.5år.

Reviewed By HencelainenAfter reading these undeserving reviews we really did not expect this hotel to be this good. The hotell is pretty small, which makes it really cozy (depending on what you like). It's not very far from the trainstation, but not in a bothering way and if you have trouble finding the hotel, you should just read the big sign on the building. The staff was very polite, nice and hardworking. They also did a very nice breakfast. The walls where kind of thin so sometimes you could hear the people out in the corridor, but other than that we had a really good time and enjoyable experience.

Reviewed By Praxibetel_IxDining area cramped, no Covid-19 regulations in Sweden? Very small rooms, relatively expensive, cleaning commenced at 10 in the morning, also when we checked out, so we got locked out of our rooms before check out, all in all not impressed at all

Reviewed By Peter BVästerhöjdsgården ligger i en äldre trevåningsvilla som tidigare bl a har varit en barnmorskemottagning. Det märktes på vårt rum att det var ett ombyggt mindre rum med kluriga installationer i dusch- och toarummet. Området är lugnt, det ligger i slutet av Skolgatan med sina många praktfulla byggnader. Det är gångavstånd till torget med restauranger och caféer, Resecentrum och Boulognerskogen. Trevligt bemötande vid frukosten. Den var av begränsad omfattning men med fräscha varor, och man står sig mätt på den inför dagens utflykter. Det finns ett pentry där man kan laga egen kaffe; det bjuds på kex och kolakarameller.

Sängen var stor och skön i alla fall. Fick bra tips om restaurang i närheten vilket räddar upp betyget till 3. Hade blivit 2 annars.
