I liked the hotel its style is lovely and the rooms are what i expect in a BP hotel. In fact they are a carbon copy. The pools were both good, some days the bottom pool was too loud by mid afternoon. With drunk loud people. But thsts ok, it's everyone's holiday as well. So we would move up to the quiet pool. No issue thetec are always beds and cabanas available at both pools at most times of the day. The food was mostly good in all restaurants. Takara was a big disappointment though as the tuna could have doubled for a door stop! The minibar was hit or miss.rum first day asked after that and it didn't appear again until 2nd last dsy. Only crisps first 2 days. Asked for coke zero. Got it the day I asked and then back to full sugar. Trying to keep the attention of a waiter with a bottle of wine or a coffee jug ...... Was a nightmare. Whilst the staff are lovely and work really really hard there are some of them who are just distracted. Would you like some water, yes please, what would you like to drink... 2 glasses of red wine please..... Water appears..... Wine well that, on average, took 2 attempts and sometimes we had finished eating before it appeared. Did we tip?? Yes of course we did. I reckon we spent the best part of 1k on tips..... It made no difference to the service we got apart from in the bar at night. Where the girl was lovely. Food was good in Don Pablo The entertainment staff were good also. All in all a nice holiday but I wouldn't come back to DR I don't think.

Reviewed By Footprints323570I recommend you go to Bahia Principe Grand La Romana. The service in the hotels are great, and it’s really family friendly. The beaches are calm, perfect for summer afternoons. The property is very well maintained, and very clean. Gardens and the whole property are beautiful but what makes this hotel special is the amazing staff. Everyone here literally go above and beyond to please customers and make your experience unforgettable! Food is incredible, very diverse and delicious! Chef José at the main buffet makes the most delicious food. Dil Cappricio Restaurant is also incredible! The animation team is super funny and will entertain the whole family kids and adults! This is a place to remember and come back! Thanks for all you do for your guests!

Reviewed By CarolmacjMy husband and I stayed on the 8th floor of tower three for a week over Christmas break. This was our third trip to Marbella, and it continues to be a lovely place to stay. The property is well maintained and safe. The apartment is clean, comfortable and functional. The pools are clean, the beach well taken care of and there are plenty of chairs and daybeds. There is an abundance of security both at the front gates as well as at the beach and pool areas. They diligently ensure that residents and vacationers have a safe and enjoyable visit. While there is only one restaurant onsite, there are several local dining options in the town. They are all walkable, under a mile from Marbella. Definitely start your day at Julia's for breakfast! Excellent dinner options are El Meson and Paladart. I rated the location and neighborhood a three. The property is one of the nicest beachfront properties that we've visited in the area. The challenge is more the surrounding neighborhood. There are a number of abandoned homes and resorts, and empty lots are laden with trash. While I would like to see this lack of infrastructure improve, I would not let that deter us from returning! My husband and I look forward to our next visit.

Ideal for a few days of relaxing at the start of the end of your trip. 20 min to airport, half an hour to Santo Domingo. Very comfortable large rooms in very nice surroundings. Super relaxing place. The attentions of the staff are very good, but the options for the breakfast are limited. The pool is ok, everything is ok for the price.

Reviewed By KGN86This place had everything I was looking for: pool, beach, local restaurants and clean! We booked two boat cruises from a shop a bit down the street. We had the cab driver stop at a grocery store in Boca Chica so we could stock up on food. (The place has a small kitchen with housewares. Bring a lighter to light the stove.) The pool and grounds are beautiful. The public beach is just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. You can rent umbrellas/chairs from folks there. (And some are included if you purchase food from the restaurants.) The beach directly in front is shallow with some seaweed, but perfect to just cool off in, the public beach is big and overall clean. The staff was great, I left my camera, and the called the cab driver and he we drove back to pick it up! (The arranged transport, $50.)

Reviewed By 917danlMy 5th time at Aparta Hotel Caribi Paraiso. Very friendly and helpful staff,easy check-in. Love that it is right on the beach of Old Juan Dolio. Very nice linens, towels and sheets, good WiFi, a/c and hot water. Each room has a safe and full well equipped kitchen. 5 floors but no elevator. Around $46 a night non ocean view room. Very safe and comfortable.
