IT’S THE SERVICE
Reviewed By FootballTravelerOverall this was a great stay, however there were a couple of what I would consider minor issues. Those being that the elevators didn’t always work at peak efficiency, our room wasn’t ready at Check-In (I’ll speak to that later in my review) and as others have said the rooms are a little dated. The thing that stood out to me is how attentive the staff is and the fact that EVERY employee I encountered worked their butts off to ensure that all guests had a wonderful stay. Like I said everyone was so attentive and worked very hard, however their were a few employees that absolutely went above and beyond to ensure we had a quality stay those employees are as follows. Grace DeJesus-When our room wasn’t ready at the posted Check-In she kindly explained what was going on and gave us what I consider fair compensation for our inconvenience. Adrian (who works at the front door)-Greeted us each and every time that he saw us and was always willing to help with food and entertainment recommendations. Joshua (who works at the pool)-Was very friendly and helpful whenever we needed anything and also went as far as to say “Thank you to your family for coming down here and staying at our property” MYRNA (who works at the pool)-In my opinion she was the absolute star of this property and made our time at the pool an awesome experience. The energy that she brings to her job and her desire to ensure that everyone is taken care of is unmatched.

When we arrived, it was disappointed because I didn’t received any help except for Luis bellman that came sprinting from the lobby to the taxi to help me. There where 2 other bellman stand watching without doing anything there names were Ian and Emanuel which they were struggling even to find me a taxi. At the start I didn’t want it any help because no one offered it, but Luis told me that I was on vacation and on his watch, I was going to enjoy Puerto Rico. He convinced me to accept his service and it was awesome!!! He sent me down to Fajardo and Cabo rojo and everything he did and told me it was above and beyond. I’m definitely coming back if he’s here. And the front desk team did a really good job and the choices team. But Luis THANK YOU!!! And I hope you accomplish everything in the music industry!!!

I facilitate retreats and training for Army Recruiters in addition to other travels, and we were extremely well taken care of by the front desk, the group coordinator, and the hospitality team, especially Mr. Isaac Varon, and his team Harvey and Felix, as well as Jaders and Pedro poolside. Royal Sonesta has upgraded this hotel from good to great, and it is apparent that they are aiming at excellence in all they do. Each staff member we interacted with had a guest-focus and sincere empathy if anything needed to be resolved. Remarkable people in a great hotel in a lovely beachfront setting. I have every intention of returning with my family on a personal retreat someday soon.

This past time was exceptional received amazing customer service from Frances. This is a business/ leisure trip ana she made it smooth and also treated us with extra care as it is my husbands bday week as well. We will be returning whenever we are in PR. The hotel’s location is very convenient, awesome beach and places to eat around.

Reviewed By stephanieaG7745TKI don’t even know where to start. My experience at Condado has been exactly what all my other trips has lacked. Luxury and the desire to make sure I was well cared for. From the moment I walked in they did not disappoint me. However there was something that my room was missing, not the hotels fault, that I wanted. I asked Christiam if he could help me. He said he would check. I went to visit my parents room and by the time I came back down Christiam had resolved my request but even if he had not resolved it his willingness was most appreciated!!! Again it was a request, not anything the hotel did so he didn’t have to go out of the way to help me. However he doesn’t know how much doing so changed My entire experience. People are so rude at times to individuals in hospitality, but if you simply treat people the way you want to be treated you would be surprised what they would be willing to do for you. Thank you again for the perfect start to the perfect trip.

Horrible and Overpriced for what you get
Reviewed By GinCasSamOverpriced for what you get. The rooms are really dated. The staff is not friendly. Bathroom door was broken and the dressers were beat up. There is no room service and the room cleaning was terrible. The mirrors and windows had streaks the blankets were never folded. Towels were left on the floor. They never replaced the soap and the coffee cups. And you have to pay daily for parking. I’m glad I only stayed for only two days and booked another hotel for the remainder of my vacation.

Fun decor, Wonderful staff!
Reviewed By Bayview22We loved our 1 night stay here. Our room was quite large and perfect for our family of 4. The location was central allowing us to easily walk around the area. The decor through out was fun, colorful and had some intresting details. There is lots of roof top seating and great views of the surrounding area. The staff here is great and our check in was a breeze. When we were a little lost trying to find our room a gentleman came to our rescue and escorted us to our room even helping us with our luggage! Unfortunately for me I woke up the next morning with an issue with my eye. I needed to get medical help immediately. The woman at the front desk was a huge help locating the right doctor for me to go to and spoke directly with the office to explain my situation. Sadly I did not get her name but she saved the day!
