Reviewed By Monica SFrom the moment I first spoke to Sonia, there was no reason to look elsewhere to stay during our family trip to el eje cafetero. She immediately gave me the confidence that we'd be taken care of no matter what. My husband, two adolescent children, and I stayed in two bedrooms, side by side, with a bathroom. The rooms were so spacious and clean! The towels were changed out daily, and the staff made sure to thoroughly clean the rooms every single day. In the morning, we were greeted with a spread of amazingly delicious food, including butter, cheese and jams made by Sonia herself! If eggs is what you like for breakfast, you can have them made any way you want. Want bacon too? Make your request. There is never a request too big for Sonia. One night, Sonia and Hector prepared an asado with ingredients all grown by the family themselves, and this was probably the best meal we had while in "el eje cafetero". Sonia made things easy...from renting a car to booking tours to making dinner reservations to being transported to nearby towns to helping me find medication I needed. She even bought me a cake and decorated with balloons and a festive sign for my birthday! There was never anything Sonia could not do, and no detail ever escaped her. She, her family (Hector and Jhaysson), and her staff (Nancy and Huber) were exceptional hosts our entire stay. We especially miss our evening talks in the living room by the fire, the dogs, the cow, the pigs, the roosters and hens, the birds, the breath of fresh and cool mountain air, and of course, Sonia!! We leave knowing we've left a piece of our hearts at La Adelita and will be back because we gained a home away from home!

The guys took care of everything, Made sure we feel confortable and eben brought us to the airport when we almost Missed the flight ! Thanks again guys for waiting for the Rain to go away & still making sure we catch the flight!! Soo recomendable 10/10??

Coffee Tree Boutique Hostel sits on 6.000 + sq meters of land, which we use to grow our own food, feed or two beautiful horses (Manazanita and Tamara), and for our three very friendly German Shepherds to run around. The house has a 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains and valleys along with ample of communal space for one to enjoy, be with a group of friends enjoying a nice cup of freshly brewed coffee or just on your own reading a book.

The town was beautiful, the food was great, but the accommodations really made it all worthwhile. It was clean, the staff was super helpful and nice, thank you for the balcony overlooking the mountains was breathtaking. The hammocks, the yoga mats, everything really was amazing. The breakfast for great. I would stay here again you have to go

Reviewed By Karo OIt was a great experience! We decided to walk from Salento center to the Finca, it’s a nice long walk, maybe wouldn’t recommend if it’s raining. We decided to take a shorter tour and we’re guided by lovely Andres! We’ve learnt a lot of interesting facts about coffee production and tried an amazing coffee on place! :) beautiful views, great quality. I would recommend it to everyone.

Reviewed By mjette03301We stayed here while touring Salento, Filandia and Cocora. We also traveled to San Vincente for the termales (hot springs). The hotel was a great place to stay in the middle of our itinerary. The hotel is clean and located near many restaurants. The rooms were spacious and the lobby was quite nice. Our family rented 3 rooms. Two doubles and a pair of queens. Very nice.

Reviewed By Thetinytraveller2022My stay at Hotel La Floresta was excellent. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the mountain views are amazing. But what was particularly great was the staff. The staff were very friendly and after I arrived the next morning 12 hours later than originally planned due to chaotic traffic , my travel dates were rescheduled by one day easily and free of charge. Clear recommendation.

The materials and decor for the property were carefully selected, from the fine touches of wood throughout, to the great coffee region mural on the main Terrace, and last but not least, the fine modern touches of the furniture and boardwalk.

Reviewed By Sophh321This is a beautiful small hotel- room was large and spotless, with a lovely terrace. The staff are very sweet and helpful-speaking good English. They gave us information about the area, tours and transport to the airport. Location is a short walk from the centre so it’s very peaceful with lovely views. Lastly, breakfast was fabulous-made to order every morning and very tasty.

Reviewed By TravelFromFrankfurtThe KAWA mountain retreat is a real unique gem. Located on the hill overlooking the entry to beautiful Valle del Cocora, it offers everything you need for a nice stay. Nicely decorated and spacious rooms, professional and friendly staff which even speaks English, delicious food, stunning views, cute dogs, a heated outside jacuzzi, and more. It is only a 5-10 minute walk into the town of Salento, but beware: a 4x4 is recommended for the road that leads to the hotel. We have extended our stay because we loved it so much and are looking forward to return one day. We liked the whole vibe of this place which was secluded due to its unique location on one side but offered quite a fast way into town (10 min walking) on the other side. Staff was also very helpful and had alot of recommend for trips and activities. In fact we liked it so much in here that we even extended our stay.

We are located in one of the first houses built in Salento, which has been completely renewed. The house has views to the mountains and it is only 400 meters from the Main Square and Calle Real. We are the biggest hostel in Salento with accommodation for 90 guests, big gardens, breakfast included, bar with mountain views, dormitories with inside bathroom and private rooms with views to the mountains. At the hostel, we have a Tourist Agency where you will be able to hire different activities, like trekking to the national park of the Nevados, horse riding and coffee tours. Among other facilities, we also include: Wifi, totally equipped kitchen, computers area, game zone and several activities that we organize weekly for your entertainment (dance classes, coffee courses, yoga classes, live music, etc.) Breakfast is free!

Reviewed By akrigsteinThe staff really made this a great experience for me; Ricardo, Juliana, Valentina and Maya were absolutely amazing. The hostel despite the overloading of Isrealis was clean, beds were comfortable and the amenities all top notch. I’d stay here again if In Salento.
