In sleepy Casei Gerola is an oasis. Motel K is like a dream, situated beside but not too close to the motorway south from Milan. Standard Rooms are smart and near. Ask for a room on the first floor (quieter). There are some themed rooms on the ground floor which appear exceptionally well done. You don’t expect that in Casei. Staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi is free and fast.

I stayed here for a week, the staff were very friendly, after the first day they were calling me Mr Peter and made me a cappuccino at breakfast without me asking. The evening meals were just okay, but breakfast was really good. The hotel was very quiet in a gated area with lovely gardens and a large pond with Koi carp swimming around. My room had a small balcony with sunshine in the afternoon. Good Wi-Fi speed, clean rooms with new towels every day. Would I return? 100% yes can’t wait to return to the Pavia area ?

We chose to stay in this hotel as it is has parking and is not far from the Certosa which we wished to visit. Our room 111 was large, in fact had been set up for four people. So it was large, clean and had a very nice bathroom. We slept well in the comfortable bed in quiet building (the room was at the rear of the building - the local church clock does not ring all night!). Breakfast was OK. We would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay to visit the Certosa and would return if in the area.

The logding house, dating from 1853, was born as a tavern with possibility of overnight stay, and it offered few rooms to accommodate foreigners and visitors. Nowadays the house has been entirely renovated and both business are still available with different managements. It is said that the famous actress Eleonora Duse was born here, and not in another famous hotel in Vigevano called “Cannon D’oro”. OUR ROOMS We offer three large rooms, one of them provided with balcony; connecting rooms are also available on demand. Our light and spacious rooms offer a cosy, relaxing atmosphere where you can rest, characterized by our charming and functional furniture , as well as the typical parquet flooring. We also have two elegant apartments, which guarantee flexibility and comfort to our guests. Thanks to our attention to details, we will make you feel comfortable. Free left-luggage service on demand. Free parking along the road: 7.00 p.m. – 9.00 a.m. Secure paying parking garage: €10,00 per day Check-in: 2,30 p.m. – 7,30 p.m. Check-out: 07,30 a.m. – 11,00 a.m.
It is a boutique hotel in the city centre with rooms around the place. My room outside was stairs up (no lift but I got offered help from reception). Inside was tastefully furnished and looked like a junior suite with plenty of room and all amenities incl slippers (but no bathrobes). Bathroom with shower cabin. My room was overlooking restaurant terrace so no peace until midnight. No actual window, just balcony doors so I was hesitant to open it but gave up in the end and it was fine. Reception team of young men is absolutely lovely. Breakfast made for you incl fresh orange juice and proper coffee. I was pleasantly surprised and would definately stay again. Excellent value too.

We stopped there on our way to the south of Tuscany. I wanted something decent to spend an afternoon and the night, but we discovered a gem! Everything falls into place: - owner and staff, everyone is genuinely nice and going the extra mile to make your stay the nicest possible - the grounds are amazingly pretty and well kept - hotel is small and more cosy than what it seems on the photos, which is a good thing, though it is not overcrowded even when the hotel was full. You feel very at ease. - rooms are nice and clean and sound proof! - Proximity to the horses is a mega plus especially with kids. We will be back and I cannot recommend this place more!

The Charm of Environments La Maison d'hôtes "Galleria Arnaboldi ", in the heart of Pavia, occupies the north-east wing of the palace built by architect Balossi for the Count Bernardo Arnaboldi Gazzaniga at the end of the XIX century. The central hall, part of the shared guest spaces along with the kitchen, overlooks the inside of the gallery with an elegant balcony on one side, and the portico of Piazza del Lino with a large terrace on the other. Elegance & Comfort We offer two suites, with air conditioning, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. The first suite ("Capriccio") is very spacious, with a double bed and a single sofa bed, and the bathroom is equipped with a large walk-in shower and a hot tub. It derives its name from the "Architectural Capriccio with Figures", an imposing XVIII century painting that takes up an entire wall, creating a very scenic backdrop. The second suite ("Camino") offers a double and a single bed, and it is equipped with a loft and a fireplace (from whence it takes its Italian name). The bathroom with shower is located in a corner near the terrace, shaded by a small pergola of roses. An Exclusive Setting The Maison d'Hotes formula allows our guests to experience the genuine atmosphere of an historic palace while enjoying all the services of a B&B 'of charm', from breakfast served in the room or on the terrace, to the finest catering for lunch and dinner, and a private driver. The location, used many times as a set for photo shoots and films, is also available for social events, photo shoots, exhibitions, and presentations that require a refined and unusual setting.
We spent 2 nights in the Elegant Galleria Arnaboldi, wonderful, beautifully furnished, comfortable bed, lovely breakfast, and it is located in the heart of the old city of Pavia, walking distance from all the cities historical sights. The staff were so warm and helpful, and will help you arrange tours to local vineyards etc., If you like old world elegance, then this is the place for you.

This hotel is located on top of a hill in the middle of a wine yard. The rooms are of high standard, and the views are amazing. From the restaurant, you can have an almost 360 view while eating b-fast or dinner.

Not really a 4 star hotel. The dinner was excellent, the beds were excellent and we very well, car parking was great, the staff were very nice but the bathroom was a disaster. There was a bath with a shower attachment and no screens or curtain and if one used it as a shower then the whole room got wet. The bidet was squeezed in between the bath and loo and there was not enough space to use it, I was in agony my thighs stuck between the things either side. The breakfast was ok, an egg cooker and no eggs, jam was local and left open, no idea how long it had been open. Nice sauna and Turkish bath, a little pool with bubbles and jets. At some point whilst we had dinner someone removed the bathrobes from our room which was very weird. One doesn't expect that, the interlopers didn't remove the empty complimentary bottle of fizzy and the glasses, just the bathrobes. Getting there and back was a ghastly journey, the roads are appalling.

Hotel very well located: a few steps from the train station and only a short stroll to the center. Very nice and helpful staff, rooms are clean, equipped with what one needs but no unnecessary frills. Truly enjoyed my twofold stay.

We are a 3 star family run hotel located in Salice Terme - in the heart of Oltrepo Pavese; for the last 35 years we have been passionate in making sure our guests have a pleasant and relaxing stay with us.We have 30 comfortable rooms (all en suite) and a restaurant where our food is simple and genuine using only the best seasonal local products. Our wine list gives our guests an opportunity to sample some good locally produced wines from vineyards nearby. If you fancy a night out, or just a walk and an ice cream, a few minutes from the hotel you will also find a number of good restaurants and bars.Ideally situated between a park and the torrent Staffora, in the beautiful scenery of Oltrepo Pavese, the Park Hotel is ideal for anyone who wants to spend some time relaxing in the country (with beautiful views on vineyards, you'll come across to small rural villages, castles, towers and fortresses) but still within easy reach of some of the best Italian attractions (Milan and Genoa are only 1 hour away by car or train, Pavia is 30 minutes). For the fashion lovers we are just 40 minutes aways from the biggest european Fashion Outlet in Serravalle.
I was part of a group that took over the hotel for a weekend function and I have to say Francesco did everything possible to make our stay memorable . The food was great and the 2 living rooms were great for spillover groups . The hotel is not the most modern but it was clean and warm and the breakfast was fantastic . The location is perfect and all of Salice's other amenities are all a short walk away .
