Fabulous and extremely friendly place with an amazing host
Reviewed By WorldExplorer08The host Peter was great and upgraded me to a large room with a balcony as large as the room itself. I arrived late around 10pm and I eluded to the fact that I was hungry. Peter being an Italian trained chef cooked an amazing authentic Italian vegetarian pizza. The best pizza I have had for a very long time. The room had 4-poster bed and was very comfortable with a clean bathroom. The hotel has a bar and restaurant. The locals are very friendly. On-site free parking available. Thanks for the amazing service Peter.

Great place to stay with awesome hosts
Reviewed By all4one1952Neat, clean and spacious rooms. The hosts Bart and Wibke are the best and made us feel at home away from home. Amazing mountain views from the room. The guesthouse is close to major ski areas and is easy to reach from innsbruck. In the summertime guests can use the pool and there is a sauna available.

Comfortable stay near Zell am See and Kitzsteinhorn with great meals
Reviewed By WhereTheSnowsGoI stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed my stay. My room in the older part of the hotel was comfortable and clean. Wi-fi was very good and I was able to do some work remotely with no trouble. Marcus, his family, and the entire staff were very welcoming and friendly. With half board, it was a very good value. Breakfast was a large self-service buffet with lots of good options, while dinner included 5 courses that changed each night, including appetizer, soup, salad, main course, and dessert. Dinner was always a hearty meal with tasty food. The location is a few minutes out of town, but an easy drive to Zell am See and Kitsteinhorn.

Reviewed By kingshidoBeautiful hotel. All the staff are very nice and friendly and so helpful. Rooms are super clean. Breakfast is so delicious. The view is wonderful. Free parkings are available at the hotel. It is perfectly located, very close to Zell Am See and Top of Salzburg.

Great house
Reviewed By Dossary2020We booked in this house. The house is very neat and clean. The rooms are excellent in a good convenient area from Zell am see. The house has a very nice garden with magnificent view. Herbert was very nice to talk to. Very successful man in life with wise words. Very charming. Claudia was ok. Most important was the room cleanliness and its proximity to Kaprun and Zell am see. I would certainly go back.

Reviewed By Resort676671The apartment is quite spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. The view and the terrace are amazing. The location is within a short driving distance to zell am see and Kaprun. Very close to everything. On top of all, the host/manager of the property is a very friendly man. He is very kind and helpful. Highly recommending to stay in this property.

School Ski Trip
Reviewed By TheTrave11er1975Having stayed at the Gasthof Mitterwirt with a large party of school children, this hotel offered exactly what we needed. The food was fine, although some of the more discerning or fussy palates of our younger diners were not too pleased. However, the hotel responded well to their requests. Breakfast was a traditional continental buffet and guests were allowed to make a packed lunch ready for the slopes. The rooms had character and all the amenities needed, including a bath and shower and flat screen TV. In addition, there were a lot of sociable spaces, which were ideal for our large party. Each floor had a large corridor with couches and chairs and their was a lounge and games room downstairs. There is also a bar, and as previously mentioned this was somewhat smoke-filled due to Austrian smoking laws but there was a large terrace where people could sit outside. Distance to the slopes was about 2KM and we did have our own transport but I believe a Ski Bus runs close by. The Ski hire shop was across the road in the village, which made the fitting of equipment for such a large number of people relatively pain-free. Overall, this is basic and clean accommodation in a beautiful part of Austria and I would recommend this hotel to large groups.

Reviewed By Karen OEen schitterend appartement, schoon, knus en voorzien van alle comfort. We werden super hartelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw ! De aanwezigheid van een broodjesservice maakte dat je 's morgens kon genieten van kakelverse broodjes zonder dat je de deur uit moest. Een absolute aanrader !
