Reviewed By sabrah935432We stayed here for a night passing through for a longer trip. Great to be able to stay as a family in the family room. Plus sides were the excellent breakfast buffet with healthy options and a variety of choices, a well equipped gym and nice swimming pool. Convenient location near the E4 (we did not explore closeness to sights and activities) and next to a big supermarket (for loading travel supplies). Convenient location and setup of pet friendly rooms avoiding disturbances to other guests and assuring availability of the basic necessities. Nice atmosphere in bar including availability of board games.

Reviewed By Dave FNice little gem this hotel everything you require to make the stay homely. Very helpful staff and the owner will walk coals to make you happy "Quote YOU are not here for us!! We are here for YOU! " best little quip I've ever heard and I've worked away all my life. The rooms are a little smaller than the big chain brands but here you get that family feeling! Far out weighs the massive cold room you can't work the heating!! Its clean and neat here we have a Gym and a Sauna both free!! Fantastic It also has a central location to all other amenities and plenty to see during a stroll. 10 out 10 from me

Lovely place to finish High Coast Trail
Reviewed By LouiseECWe should have booked, but didn’t and by the time we arrived all the doubles were gone. Very kind and helpful staff at reception sorted us out and found a larger room, offering us the same price as a double. The clean, bright room with fresh sheets and towels and a super hot shower was a welcome relief after 10 days camping! The kitchen area was great, if you wanted to cook, but we opted for pizza at the adjoining restaurant—what a good call, it was DELICIOUS! Our waiter was super helpful too. Breakfast next morning on the terrace just outside the kitchen area, overlooking the boats in the harbour, in glorious sunshine. Perfect. A great hostel, at a great price. Would definitely recommend.

Reviewed By NiclasV21The rooms nowhere match the descriptions, the bathroom stank of urine, when the fridge got plugged in it started to smell rotten, and the noise6from the fridge only got overwhelmed by the astoundingly poor soundproofing in the rooms, as EVERYTHING was heard, outside and inside the building.

Friendly and solution oriented
Reviewed By Maria LWe were kindly greeted that we had been upgraded (but unknown why or what the difference to our booking was). Unfortunately I had a complaint on cleaning, but it was very kindly received and promptly noted. Also unfortunately our dinner reservation at the hotel restaurant was cancelled as they were short of staff - as we were occupied I requested assistance in arranging a booking elsewhere, which was handled without hesitation. The restaurant we were redirected to turned out to be really nice, so it turned out for the best. Breakfast: everything was there. No complaints, no "wows". Parking: SEK 100 outdoors only. There are more affordable parking close by.

Old hotel in urgent need of update
Reviewed By Micke_G_6104The breakfast was very good and the overall atmosphere in this old hotel. However the room was a dissaster. Shower wall almost not working, Toilet seat not fit. Bed old and more like a hammok.Lights not working. WiFi instructions in German. If I can chose another hotel next time in Örnsköldsvik I will do so.

Some facilities not available when we stayed, as pool, sauna and BBQ all not in use. Patio lighting and citronella candles also there but not available/on. Expensive for what it is, but very peaceful and lovely veiws over golf course.

Reviewed By IOGWFHRooms were small but the beds were comfortable, good bathroom, excellent WiFi, quiet location and free parking out the front. Receptionist was really friendly, it was convenient with luggage that there was no stairs, and breakfast was nice. It was a little pricey even for Sweden.

Rooms were clean and decent but beds in one room not great
Reviewed By Ed GNice hotel close to the centre of town. We stayed one night in two rooms. Easy check in with the door code sent by SMS. The rooms were clean and decent and cheap. The two single beds in Room 20 were tired - big dips in the middle of them. Breakfast was okay - still buffet which felt weird during covid but generally okay other than running out of normal milk.

We are here to spoil you! Regardless if you are here attending a conference or on a well deserved vacation we aim to take care of you the same we do with our family. We are the only Gastro Hotel in the High Coast and we take great pride in our kitchen and our brand new wine cellar. The hotel is beautifully decorated with light nordic colours and individual rooms. All our rooms have a balcony, twin beds and amenities from Rituals.
A luxury gem - more than we expected
Reviewed By Abundance_of_milesWhat a gem! We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant. Chefs and staff with high ambitions and creativity based on local ingredients. Somewhat insightful staff presented the food and wines well. Probably the best breakfast we ever had, served at the table due to Corona virus. Just to tick what we wanted and get the delicacies served. Our superior room had good space for four and was cozy in a New England style. Balcony and view over the sea. We also enjoyed the sauna - almost new and with view over the sea. Pool was nice after the sauna. We regretted not bringing our training gear as the gym was well equipped. Can be recommended as a getaway for families, couples, friends or whenever you want to celebrate.
