Reviewed By munier71We stayed 5 nights at one of their suites (challet). It was a great experience all the way. Lovely facility, car park beside ur suite, airconditioned, bike rentals, breakfast basket delivered in the morning, friendly staff, near to the center, a place to recommend!!

Quaint country side Mansion with Cottages
Reviewed By Carol TWe stayed here for 2 nights, in one of there cottages. The room is small, but comfortable with private bathroom. TV is in the room, no AC but there several windows, one of which can be opened to let the breeze in. There was free WiFi, but had to connect to in our room - seemed to work only in the Mansion when we had breakfast. Lovely walk around the large grounds, woody area and a creek running though. Breakfast was very good and relaxing.

Reviewed By I3976EIhanssRooms are good with a terrace, very good bathroom and tv. All the things you need for a holiday with walking distance to the beach. Very good food and very reasonable priced. Best price quality I have experienced in the last few years. Very friendly staff and always wanted to help. And what a location. So nice and close to the beach. The dunes are beautiful especially in the early morning. Take a walk to the beach and it makes you very happy!!

As a hostel, Stayokay Domburg is accommodated in a truly exceptional building: Westhove Castle. This 13th-century castle, complete with turrets and a moat, is at walking distance from the beach. The hostel's rooms are both in the main building of the castle and in one of the two carriage houses. The castle was fully renovated in 2004, but has retained its nostalgic atmosphere, including the bar, of course. The two terrace cafes offer a fantastic view of the surrounding dune landscape.
Terrible Customer Service
Reviewed By barborucuBooked a room on their webpage for this weekend and paid via paypal, Never received confirmation email. Called the hotel and the guy in reception told me you booked twice. First booking is cancelled and second is fine and that they are waiting for me tomorrow. Shortly afterwards, got an email from them saying booking does not exist, payment did not do through and i should pay with a proper method. Replied back saying I paid via paypal as it was an option on your site and I was charged. Connie who corresponded me via email had sincere lack of empathy and lacked any customer service. Would avoid this chain at any instance in the future.

A delightful find
Reviewed By NickH1956I booked my one night stay at this hotel over the internet. I was cycling from Dunkirk and was aware that the reception closed early on the day of my arrival - they told me it was not a problem if I was running late just give them a call. I omitted them and arrived late. I called the owners who could have been more helpful, coming to check me in and made me feel very welcome and not at all annoyed that I had messed them around. The hotel room, and bathroom were clean and roomy. The surroundings and garden looked lovely but I had very little time and left early the next morning after a splendid buffet breakfast. My only regret is that I forgot to leave a tip - this I shall be rectifying by post as I feel so strongly about the hotel and its owners.

booking cancelled without checking with us blamed us
Reviewed By nix34warning: we booked via the phone with this hotel for the weekend. We were asked to send the info via email to confirm which we did within 30 min. The next morning i got an email that the person who answered the phone forgot to say that you have to book 3 nights during high season. i called to discuss and the gentleman was quite rude, blaming us (i called you last night but you didn't answer) and informed us he cancelled the reservation and there were no more rooms. He explained that a phone reservation isn't a reservation and we should know that if its busy you have to pay for 3 nights. crazy! he called back to offer us a small room with no bathroom for the same price, but he would forget the 3rd night...now, i booked something else.
