Reviewed By Paul BThe family runned 'pension' (bed & breakfast) is located a few steps away from central Oetz with its shops, supermarkets and restaurant. I cannot think of anything that was not very good or excellent. Rooms are nice and clean and include a private bathroom, TV and a private balcony. There is an ample parking area in front of the house. Breakfast buffet is also good. Friendly staff. Good value for money. We will definitely come back.

Reviewed By Raymond CIt gave us a real Holiday feeling. The staff is Friendly. The owners are ver much involved. The food is fabulous. The breakfast is absolutely rich. They have a one of a kind relaxing Bar. The rooms are very Cosy. The swimming-pool is unique. The hotel is in the town-center.

Good location for skiers... 900 m from Hochoetz skiarea, cca 25 min from Kuehtai and around half an hour from Soelden. You can also walk around 15 minutes to the Oetz city on flat road without any traffic. I really recommend!

Wonderful hotel, fantastic wellness area
Reviewed By vohogawe had a nice weeklong stay at the hotel. Not all staff are equally briefed and knowledgeable but all do their best to keep guests happy. The kitchen is superb, I just wish some of the Austrian staples would be served more often. The wellness area and outdoor heated pool are exceptional!

This is served all in the stylish restaurant or in the scented pine "Tiroler Stube", a light-flooded conservatory with panoramic views and a terrace for sunny days invite you to linger. The rooms and suites offer every comfort so you have to give in on anything on holiday. Facilities include shower or bath, partly separate WC, sitting area, satellite TV, telephone, radio, internet, safe, hair dryer, baby monitor and a balcony. Large apartments, but not welcoming service and terrible food
Reviewed By Sylvia SWe spent 4 nights at the Waldhof with a large group. Unfortunately, we were all disappointed. The apartments were spacious, and the outdoor pool is nice. The rest of the experience was far below 4-star standards. The manager was unfriendly and clearly expressed her annoyance when there were any special needs or requests. There was no feeling of welcome or hospitality. The facilities are dated. There are no shower curtains on the showers, so there is no way to shower without getting the whole bathroom wet. But the most difficult of all was the cuisine. The food was terrible. One night was a pasta buffet that my 10-year old daughter would have done a better job with (and that she wouldn't even eat from!) - dried out cubes of lasagne, 3 different kinds of pasta covered in oil in the steam table next to 3 unappetizing sauces. Not what I would expect as a main course from a 4-star hotel, or even a 3-star hotel for that matter. There was a salad buffet every night as a first course, and it had about the same level of food and variety as in a super market buffet. Two nights the kids' menu was fried foods straight from the freezer, with no veg - nuggets, fish sticks, 'smiley' potatoes. And ice cream every night for dessert for the kids. Having said that, the adults' desserts weren't much better! The breakfast buffet was also limited and rather depressing. I am sorry to say, but because of the sour service and not feeling made welcome, together with the terrible food, we will not be returning.

Das Hotel wurde 2016 und 2021 komplett umgebaut und erneuert. Dabei sind 29 neue Zimmer mit jeglichem Komfort entstanden. Unsere neue Panoramasauna bietet dann noch das gewisse Wellness. Nur kurze Wege zu den Skigebieten und vor allem der hoteleigene Shuttleservice kompletiert unser tolles Angebot. Aber auch das Tourengehen, Rodeln auf der eigenen Rodelbahn, Schneeschuhwandern oder im Schnee herumtollen ist hier möglich. Und im Sommer kann man vom Hotel aus unzählige Wandertouren unternehmen. Auch für Abenteuerlustige bieten wir vom Rafting bis zum Canyoning alles. Hier in Marlstein wird Gastlichkeit und Service groß geschrieben, dafür steht die Familie Neurauter seit 1907.

We spent there a week and every day (breakfast and supper) was a suprise for us. Superb icecreams (our daughters words ;-) ) and wine. Room was clean and comfortable with balcony and great mountain view. Very friendly family and stuff. Hope to visit the place in winter. Many thanks for unforgettable stay ;-)

The place to take a break from every day life. Welcome to the Nature Resort in the Oetztal, Tyrol. Many people who want to escape during their summer or winter holidays from the demands of everyday life are decidedly searching for something special, looking for secluded rural settings and evocative natural wonders. Our aim is to create omething in the mountains for those people, something that is different. A hotel with 4 stars but not in the traditional sense, more like a small village, authentic and part of the surrounding forest and meadows as if it had been in the location forever. A hideaway for people to let them forget the hustle and bustle of the world ...
Amazing place to stay

The staff incredible: attentive, super friendly and forthcoming. We always feel very well taken care of and let me tell you: the food is just superb!!!

Very clean and modern
Reviewed By MaartenV1409Located just on the edge of the center of Ötz (do note that Ötz is not a big town). Walking distance to the ski lift that takes you to Hochotz, but we suggest taking the car if you have to do the walk in ski boots and with your ski equipment. Very clean and modern. Politely greeted at the front desk on arrival and provided with all the info to park our cars, unload the ski equipment (in the heated equipment room) and find our room. Wall mounted Bluetooth speaker in the very spacious living room. The pool and sauna was an amazing way to relax at the end of a day of skiing. Sölden ski resort is a 30 minute drive. Only small remarks: the kitchen is fairly small in terms of workspace, not a lot of hangers on the walls or space for coats or other clothing in the rooms and a coat rack at the entrance would be a nice addition as well.
