Great location with extremely friendly and helpful English speaking staff
Reviewed By oilmanDorset_U_K_We have visited this family run hotel several times- and feel we prefer it in Winter to Summer. The rooms are very comfortable and the food is varied and always interesting. Many things to do for all ages- we spend 5 days there usually. They will pick you up from the Airport and drop you there on the way home. It is a totally stress- free holiday and well recommended. All kinds of winter sports are catered for and trips to Innsbruck on the bus are free with the Welcome Card supplied by the Innsbruck Tourist office via the hotel automatically. Being only 2 hours flight time away from London and a not too busy airport makes it an ideal location.

Reviewed By MaKu70We stayed at the Aschlandhof for a long weekend of hiking and good food. Our room was nice & clean and offered a great view of the valley and mountains. The staff was friendly and the breakfast offered everything we needed.

Disappointment for Families.
Reviewed By Yonathan YThe hotel supposed to be a family hotel and kids friendly but promising is one thing and providing the services is another thing. We've been there for a short weekend with our kids, while checking in we've been informed that there are no activities ski etc.. for the kids during the weekend and as well no kids care at the indoor play room... so why is it called family Hotel?? The heating system in our room wasn't functioning well and the room was too cold - ended up with 2 kids got cold. While asking for heating solution nothing really changed. While telling our feedback and disappointment feelings the receptionist just ignored us. Same happened when we've sent an email to the hotel. Conclusions: 1. Once and once too much. 2. During weekends this hotel is not a kids/family friendly hotel. 3. Customers service below zero.

Long weekend
Reviewed By bartlomiejp2014Hotel and apartment where we stayed was good enough for us. It is not fancy place but the stuff was friendly and we had a good stay there. Pool and sauna area are very good and you can really relax. Good breakfast.

Taking more care for money than for guests
Reviewed By DH030Can’t tell anything about the rooms, although we would have liked to sleep there. Can’t tell anything about the breakfast, although we would liked to have breakfast. Can’t tell anything about the restaurant, althoug we would liked to have dinner there. But I can tell you about the non-hospitality and the way they deal with guests. So what happened? On our way to Italy we selected this gasthof to stay overnight if we could make it on time. When we saw we could make it we made our reservation (on another website) for this day, Friday. When we wanted to check in one hour later we saw that by accident we made our reservation on Saturday instead of today. We asked if we could change our reservation into today. “No”, said the host (black hair and glasses) with a big smile “you have to pay for Saturday as well”. Strange, even a little discount because of the situation was not possible. “You can only cancel free of charge until 42 days before the stay”. Yes sure, the room had been not available for booking for less than 1 hour. A big smile again and he walked away, leaving us at the desk. Hotelling is a job, some understand, some don’t. So if you are looking for hospitality, look further I suggest, there are a lot of great guesthouses in this area. @Gasthof Panorama: enjoy our money!

Reviewed By sonjaw417Wij zijn hier 2 nachten geweest. De kamers zijn mooi en Oostenrijks ingericht. Alles is erg schoon. Een heerlijk balkon met comfortabele stoelen en stoelkussens. Een fijne zithoek in de kamer. Het ontbijt heel erg goed. Erg genieten is de sauna. Echt heel sfeervol ingericht. Je voelt je heel welkom hier! We keren hier zeker terug.

Mountain beauty!
Reviewed By JacalopeWe were looking for a place to stop between Klagenfurt and Stuttgart and we always enjoy small places in the mountains. We found this place and were interested. The photos were beautiful. Arriving was a bit of an expedition, but GPS did not fail us. The location is as gorgeous as the photos - a high valley in the midst of the mountains. Amazing scenery and located in a small farming community. We were greeted by the daughter and her little baby boy. She showed us around, provided the key and asked us when we would like breakfast. The building with 10 or so rooms was constructed in the early 2000s. Our room was comfortable with a lovely shared balcony and amazing views. The room was small but functional with comfortable bedding. There was a good sized closet and table with 2 chairs. At the entry is a roomy spot to hang your coats (an necessity for winter/skiing travelers). Also you are asked to leave your shoes at the front or on mats near the room. Breakfast was good with amazing homemade butter, cheeses and cold meats. Coffee with milk, orange juice, waffles, jam and honey, rye bread, semmels and rolls. We had an egg on the second day but not the first (I think she just forgot). We enjoyed walking through the meadow (saw several deer, enjoyed the sound of the bells on the cattle) and to a nearby waterfall. The scenery is exquisite. The mountains, the villages and in the evening the stars! Wow! We would certainly return and recommend this place.
