Reviewed By 605derekThe hotel is excellent with good service, food and a comfortable bed.The quality of the employees is excellent and they are very helpful.The pool is lovely as is the ambience. We had a problem with the shower which was very slow in water pressure and for 2 days was cold.

The pool and cabana area is also lovely and relaxing. The staff there couldn't be nicer and are always eager to help. We had a wonderful and very relaxing time here and I'd highly recommend this hotel to anybody looking to stay in that area. One small but very nice touch is that the in-room coffee machines are filled up with fresh water every day by the staff so when you want a coffee in the morning, it's all ready to go for you.

The room was great, waking up with the sound of the nature was amazing, we don't want to forget the awesome view to a beautiful landscape. Great place to stay and relax.

The owners are a lovely couple and they make sure your stay goes as perfect as it could be. Reviewed By MonicaD3876My husband, daughter, some friends and I went for a day trip to The Granja Extrema. We travel often to Armenia and wanted to try something new. We so enjoyed riding bikes on the abandoned railroad track that Don Raul restored. Fun, safe, interesting and active! We didn't see any howler monkeys, but they apparently have been sighted at one of the stops we made at a clearing. We also bathed in a river which was perfect on a hot day after biking. When we got back a delicious hot lunch awaited us. Don Raul has champion Paso Fino horses that he shared with us. He explained the history and technique of these amazing animals. Lockers and showers are provided. You can play volleyball, soccer, swim or take a siesta in one of the hammocks. Raul, his wife Doris, Marcella his sister, Marcella the receptionist, Vanesa their niece and the whole staff were so warm and hospitable. You get a lot for the very reasonable price of admission. We'll for sure be back!!!

We were on the end of a 6 week trip and had stayed at multiple Fincas already, and this one was our favorite, almost entirely because of Mauricio. He is simply the nicest host we have encountered. He will take care of anything you need and do so with a smile. He does not speak English, but even our very minimal Spanish was more than enough to communicate with him. There is a fantastic restaurant just a few miles from the Finca. Highly recommend renting a car and using this Finca as a home base to explore the entire area. We drove to multiple locations within a 2 hours drive of the Finca and could not have asked for a better glimpse into life in the Zona Cafetera.

You can visit The Coffee Park, near Armenia city (Population 400,000). The farm is quiet and you can watch on a clear night all the stars in our solar system. You can also visit El Valle de la Cócora, walk the trails and enjoy the flora and fauna, beautiful mountains and valleys. The weather is just perfect year around about 65 degrees Fahrenheit. Last but not least a visit to Salento, a small town with a lot of the traditions of Colombia.
