Simple, but Awesome

A little removed from downtown the Kon Klor Hotel (KKH) is set in mature gardens, close to the eponymous suspension bridge. Rooms are well priced & as mentioned, set in a lovely garden. Simple, but functional KKH is a little suburban oasis.

Good hotel /hostel
Reviewed By geoffj1983Stayed here 1 night. Booked 1 bed in a 8 bed dorm I think it was. I had the room to myself though, so it was like a private room. Very clean and nice room /beds. Had a small few breakfast. The staff was very polite and helpful. Only thing I would change would be to post the wifi password somewhere in the lobby and/or rooms. I could have asked but it was late and I didn't want to bother the family that I think runs it. Good place to stay though! ?

A nice hotel on the river
Reviewed By Chris HI got placed here by the tour company. It's a good placement. The hotel is on the south end of town not far from Rt. 1 on the river. This quiet town is so special. The hotel isn't busy and the staff is very nice and speaks understandable English. I was assigned to a north facing room that had a great view. however, I wanted the river view which they charged USD 5 more for and warned me it would be hot. It was, but by the time I got in for the day it was comfortable and the river view was great as was the morning sunrise. The room clean with all of the amenities needed. The morning breakfast was a bit more catered to a Chinese breakfast than Western, but not bad.

Good value
Reviewed By ghyubiopI stayed 2 nights in the Hoang Van hotel. The hotel was quiet in a quiet street. The room was clean, spacious, with airco. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They did not speak English well, but made the effort and had the patience to try and communicate in English. In the end, it always worked out. Kontum is totally off the beaten track, so this was part of the charm. They ordered a taxi for me, which was cheaper than the one I had taken at the airport according to the standard (or maximum?) rate. Good value, trustworthy.

Reviewed By logo369The first night I was given a small room. Then I was moved to a larger room which was quite nice. The bed was a king size and very comfortable. TV and fridge with a large closet. To be honest, I don’t get up early enough to have breakfast and I can not recall if there was breakfast. I am sure there was. There is a garage for cars and space for motor bikes. The location is great, centrally located, easy to get around by foot with lots of cafes and restaurants around.. The family that owns it is super. Ready to accommodate my needs. I was taken to see the sights by them, I really enjoyed it considering it was Tet and most everything was closed. I will be back to Kon Tum this summer and will be staying with them.

Reviewed By Shuddho GThis place was referred to me by a friend after knowing my requirements.Its located a bit away from Kon Tum town centre and is not exactly walking distance.However,it still do able for those inclined.Situated across the Dak Bla river it has a garden set out and pretty well maintained.A nice and refreshing stay in the midst of nature.

Mattresses like at home! Only stayed one night as we were on a tour at the time but no complaints from me!

For last few years, I have been travelling a lot and able to make a vast number of new friends. Via that, I am more confident in myself, improve my English skills as well as the knowledge and culture but travelling has been quite hard for me recently because of finance and time issue. To run a homestay, I don't need to travel much and also I can meet new friends every single day. We can share our stories to each other. Further and more importantly, it is going to be a huge chance for me to show off about my stunning town - where I call home proudly - Kon Tum. My homestay is located in one of the most beautiful outskirts in Kon Tum city. We have 5 rooms with a cute garden and a vintage common space. Come to my homestay, your travel time will never go by meaninglessly.
Great central garden where easy to meet lots of interesting people.
