A dream for families with a baby/toddler
Reviewed By artemisAntwerpWe stayed here in June with our toddler. This was really a dream for us to be in such a baby/toddler friendly environment. Not being at home but still not having to worry about a thing. Everything that parents need at your disposal, baby food in jars, milk, baby food upon request, baby carriers, bikes,.. The feeling that your toddler is safe even when closing your eyes for a second when you’re lying in the garden. And the feeling not having to being ashamed when your little one is crying or making a scene, since we’re all parents with babies/toddlers. The staff at the reception, restaurant, baby care and housekeeping are so nice and considerate. The room and all the rest of the hotel was so clean!!! Thumbs up to housekeeping also for their flexibility. Our daughter was very pleased with the play box (adapted for her age) in the room. We also enjoyed the babyswim course, she felt so comfortable in the water. They also have a variety of other courses for example wall climbing on the hotel side wall, couple massage, babymassage, papa-baby hike. Furthermore outside swimming pool area is fenced. We particularly enjoyed the wellness area, sauna, hammam,… Swimming pool both inside and outside have warm and enjoyable temperature, ideal for our daughter with nice features as massage streaming and bubbles. The outside swimming pool is so nice. We so much enjoyed our evening swims there! We also used the baby care a few times, Manuela was so loving and nice and took so good care of her. Our daughter felt so at ease with her. They also do nice activities with the kids as for example go and visit the hares that they keep on the property. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served as buffet. To be honest some days better than others. But I bet that is the case in any restaurant that has buffet. All in all a great variation of food. Also very nice was the daily journal with weather forecast and tips, displayed on every dinner table. Normally we want to try out a different hotel/destination every year but this time, now with our toddler, we are already considering going back to this hotel. This is so ideal for all our needs in this moment of our life.

Cozy hotel close from all surrounding ski resort

This time we tried out the 4 nights 3/4 board arrangements including three days lift pass that can be used in all surrounding ski area among so called "Schnee Winkel ". Everything was coordinated professionally and uncomplicated. They serve one dinner in the separated Tirol style chalet and the local musician plays the regional traditional music that is quite nice. Breakfast and meals are tasty, the sweets served in the afternoon as well as the dessert at diner could be a bit better. However in total very reasonable fair price, only 103€ p.p per night for 3/4 board.

New year break
Reviewed By skier092A lovely family run hotel. The evening meal is good and plentiful with several choices. The staff are all friendly and the rooms clean and tidy. Live music once a week is provided by 2 brothers and it's all local mountain music (really enjoyable). This is my 4th new year trip but I make several thought the ski season as it's ideal to the slopes.

Reviewed By dominik78A small family-run hotel with about 15 rooms and a sizable farm with horses, donkeys, a few dozen cows. The rooms are as expected from a ***s hotel, the dinner is excellent and the place has a homey feel to it. The sauna area is very nice (considering the size of the hotel) and everything is clean and well-maintained. A ski school and beginners slope is in walking distance, a number of decent ski areas like Kitzbühel or Steinplatte between 10 and 30 minutes by car. If you don’t need a posh alpine resort, it’s a great place to come with the family for a few days.

The breakfast and dinner are very good with a lot of natural products. This hotel offer gluten free products.

Simple but comfortable
Reviewed By AgOsiBWe stayed here in the summert wice each time for one night top and tailing a walk around the Wilder Kaiser. We recommend the simpler room in the 'Bauernhaus' over the room in the main house. Although the room and bathroom are a little dated, the beds are comfortable and the space clean and adequate. The half-board option was very good. No frills, but equally good simple food worth the money charged.

"Sonnleitn", the dialect expression for sunside, describes probably most appropriate the situation of our house. Our pension lies in the heart of the Kitzbuhler Alpen. In the winter you can directly beside our house the Kirchdorfer ski area enjoy! The liftplant Steinplatte, St.Johann and ski circus of savage emperor Brixental can be attained in few driving minutes. In the summer you expect led migrations, Mountainbiketours, and wide Wellnessplants in our eautiful landscape.

Reviewed By Karenbarber77We have just returned from a week ski holiday staying at the Pension Sonnleit'n. In total there were 25 of us staying and what a fantastic time we have had. The pension is in a great position to ski down the slope to ski school for those who need to and views are amazing. The pension has great sized rooms all ensuite, with family rooms having a separate bedroom from the lounge area where the children sleep. Ziggy and Christina the owners are on the go constantly cleaning and making sure everything is ok, they are very house proud which is clear as their standards are extremely high in the presentation of the pension. No ski boots or skis in the main pension but there is a boot room in the basement which is accessed from the road. The food is served breakfast at 8 which is cereal, bread and cold meats as for dinner, served at 7pm which is 3 course set menu. Maybe a choice would be nice which could be pre-ordered the night before but all good is home made and even my fussy children never complained. Excellent place to stay and will hopefully return again in the future.
