Reviewed By daviddA3155UGNice location, nice hotel, nice rooms, nice welcome from the staff but the issue is with everything that involves food en beverage… long waiting times in both bar and restaurant. Very difficult communication between front desk And restaurants in general. A shame because lots of potential. Still here for a few days so let us hope it gets better.

SCHLECHTE ERFAHRUNG NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL There are two parts of this hotel managed by the same family: "Family Egger pension" und hotel jochberger hof. We had a booking for the first one (the cheaper option) made at the tourism office. Although we explained when we arrived that we booked a room in the pension, the receptionist told us we were at the right place and showed us the WRONG ROOM . It is only the morning when we were checking out that we realized his mistake: we had to pay DOUBLE THE PRICE that the room we had booked. I called the manager to explain the situation, she was VERY RUDE, told us the pension was already full, it was our fault und HUNG UP. Even when the tourism office called them, they refused to listen and insisted it was our fault for going in the room room. My friend and I had a very little budget, this incident made our stay very difficult. The staff is VERY RUDE, barely speaks English and is only interested in money.

Wonderful ski holiday!
Reviewed By R_J_11I stayed here in January 2013 with my two young adult daughters and it was excellent. We had two adjoining rooms which were warm and comfortable with lovely views of the snowy hillside. We found the service wonderful - which made our whole stay very easy to organise. The ski bus stops right outside the front door so we could easily get to Pass Thurn, Jochberg or Kitzbuhel. The food was great with good variety and a varied wine selection. We loved the fresh fish on Friday. The service in the restaurant was also very good and the breakfast kept us going all day. We particularly enjoyed the caring, personal, family feeling of Gasthof Alte Wacht.

Great hotel, great service
Reviewed By Blink85I’ve been standing in this hotel with my family the last days of July. The hotel is about 15 minutes far from Kitzbuhel. The hotel is very nice and very clean. Food is very good, also for kids. We are from Italy and the food is great also for Italian food (pasta, fish, meat,etc). The two servers are very nice and kind and the owner as well. They made us feel very comfortable.

Reviewed By Jitule SUbytování v soukromí na statku, velmi příjemná paní domácí, čisté pokoje, každodenní úklid. Sprchový kout a umyvadlo přímo na pokoji, WC společné na chodbě. Vydatná a pestrá snídaně. Byli jsme velmi spokojeni. Jediné co mi chybělo je nějaký stolek na pokoji, je ale možné se naveceret nebo posedět v jídelně dole.
