I facilitate retreats and training for Army Recruiters in addition to other travels, and we were extremely well taken care of by the front desk, the group coordinator, and the hospitality team, especially Mr. Isaac Varon, and his team Harvey and Felix, as well as Jaders and Pedro poolside. Royal Sonesta has upgraded this hotel from good to great, and it is apparent that they are aiming at excellence in all they do. Each staff member we interacted with had a guest-focus and sincere empathy if anything needed to be resolved. Remarkable people in a great hotel in a lovely beachfront setting. I have every intention of returning with my family on a personal retreat someday soon.

This past time was exceptional received amazing customer service from Frances. This is a business/ leisure trip ana she made it smooth and also treated us with extra care as it is my husbands bday week as well. We will be returning whenever we are in PR. The hotel’s location is very convenient, awesome beach and places to eat around.

It’s definitely a family friendly hotel but still a great place with no family in tote. Location: It’s not beach front property however the beach is within walking distance. The Playa Isla Verde is approx 1.5 blocks from the hotel. You’ll receive wristbands at check-in that will give you access to the pool, beach and breakfast. You’ll also receive your evening cocktail Atrium: Coquí, Coquí (you hear the sounds of the native frog welcomes) Food: The little restaurant El Patio stays popping. The food & drinks are great! I had the chicken chicharrones which comes with tostones. The cocktails give that tropical vibes… Daily breakfast includes made to order omelets, fruit, waffles, farina and a daily rotation of meats (sausage, diced ham , corned beef hash, etc.) Rooms: The rooms are older and could probably use some updating. With that being said, it’s super spacious. If you’re able to get a higher floor room with a pool view. Do it! Great views of the pool, the tool bridge with the Puerto Rican flags and parts of the airport are all with in view. All in All, the value of the hotel is worth the stay!

Do not be deceived by the Photos
Reviewed By diblaintDon’t be deceived by the property’s photos, it’s all marketing. THE HOTEL IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK YOU’LL GET. Check in process took us 45 minutes and we were 2nd in line. Rooms were NOT as in the photos. Bed and pillows were VERY OLD and DIRTY … and in really bad condition too. So were the bed sheets. The room’s furniture also needs revamping. As an EXPEDIA VIP MEMBER I was supposed to get either free self parking or a room upgrade and did not get any of those. All in all, WE WILL NEVER BE BACK to this place and I don’t recommend you go there either.

Reviewed By JosecorpesVery nice place to stay in Puerto Rico. I love the staff, cleanliness, and Mika the cat! I enjoyed having my coffee and laptop by the pool every morning. The beach is a short walk away, and there is a car rental facility onsite. The airport is nearby and you do occasionally hear jet engines but it didn’t bother me at all.

Reviewed By Cocoa16First, when I arrived to check in (at 2:00 am), there was no one to check us in, just a security guard that stated “he had no access to anyone that works at the resort”. Our package/information wasn’t left at the desk and the guard said he didn’t have a key to go to the office to pull our package. So we had to go to another hotel and spend the night. When we returned in the morning and try to check in they had to look for a package and when they found it they just gave it to us and didn’t say a word. None of the amenities were available, the pool was under construction, the restaurant in the resort was closed, the spa was closed, the gym was closed in essence we had nothing but our room. We were not told that the whole resort was closed except for the rooms. Also, no one ever answered the phone in any department, not even the front desk, no help at all from any one. What a waste! Never again, so don’t waste your time or money going here until 2023.

Reviewed By Ruben MVery nice accommodations. Kind and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Very clean, neat and modern rooms. Super fast internet. Well located, near Isla Verde beach, just crossing highway. It also has several parking lots, which is kind of a luxury in San Juan and a relief when you are carrying luggage. This hotel would be just perfect if only had soundproof windows, because is quite close to the Expreso Baldorioty highway and boricuas just love revving engines and super loud music.

Old, walls with paint chipping off, a/c didn't work good, leaking over my stuff. roaches on walls, pool super nasty! , i had to go ask to get it cleaned, hazy water! terrible housekeeping! Overall, I should of gotten a refund !! And find something else! The hotel totally ruined my vacation!!
