Super acueil , la chambre était spacieuse avec une literie très confortable ,la nourriture est excellente ont sent que c est fait avec amour. L hôtel dispose également d un petit parc pour les enfants tout ca au calme dans un environnement magnifique. Tout ce qu' il faut pour se sentir très bien.

Great Food in Lovely Restaurant
Reviewed By ManderjWe ate at this restaurant twice and had great meals both times. We sat in the main restaurant the first time which is very comfortable, modern and clean. The second time we sat in the area with the windows facing onto the square and had lovely views of the beautiful snowy village square. The waitresses were friendly, helpful and professional. The menu had a good variety. Our friends had steaks on one occasion and they were perfectly cooked and tender. I had the kasespatzle one evening which was lovely and very tasty. There is even a small menu for older people which is great for older people with smaller appetites. There is a great selection of desserts including some lovely cakes. A great place to eat but you need to reserve a table as they get very busy.

Reviewed By RobertvRootThis is like cominh home to family and you will be spoiled like royalty. This family run hotel offers beautiful rooms, excellent sauna and the food is unbelievable. The father & sons team are there from morning to late night catering to your every whim. The price includes all meals, and the ( course dinner is impressive with several choices. You can ski Cross country and downhill in the area and make super walks in the summer. A place to go when you just want to be on your own, relax and enjoy and be pampered.

Fabulous Apartment
Reviewed By ManderjThese apartments are just fabulous. On arrival the owners Pepi and his wife were very welcoming. They are beautifully decorated and so comfortable. We had a 2 bedroom apartment, one with en-suite and one with a bathroom next door to the bedroom. Both have showers ( one is over the bath). The other in the en suite is a standalone shower. The whole apartment was immaculate and very clean. The decor is modern and very tasteful. Beds are comfortable with ample wardrobe space. There is even a wardrobe in the lounge which is not obvious that it is a wardrobe and probably used if children are using the pull out bed in the lounge. Hairdryer is provided. Lounge area is very comfortable with coffee table and comfortable seating. There is a large dining area with seating for 6 people which is also very comfortable. The master bedroom has its own balcony. There is also a very large balcony leading from the lounge. Seats are on the balcony and it is lovely to sit out here and can be very warm even in the winter when the sun is shining. Kitchen is well equipped with fridge, hob, microwave, extractor, plenty of crockery, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils, saucepans, kettle and bowls. They also provided us with a filter coffee machine and toaster. We made a lovely curry one evening. You can order fresh bread every day apart from Sunday and this bread is freshly baked each morning. Each day you complete a bread order and bread is delivered to your apartment with the order form. Keep the order forms as these forms are used by the owners to calculate your bill. There is a lift in the building as well as stairs and the stairways are all very clean and modern. At night the apartments are lit up and look amazing. The apartments were well heated and we were never cold. The apartments have a sauna and a lovely sun room. Parking is available. There are a couple of supermarkets in the village. One is very close to the apartments and has the essentials. There is a larger supermarket in the village square. The larger supermarkets can be found in Elbigenalp which is just a 10 to minute drive from Holzgau. There is an ATM in the village square. There are a number of very good restaurants in the village but you do need to reserve a table as they can be very busy. If you are visiting restaurants, cafes or bars remember to take your Covid19 vaccinations proof as well as identity documents. I used my driving licence. They ask for identity and check this against your Covid19 vaccination proof. Overall these apartments are excellent and I highly recommend them. Booking an apartment is easy and the communication from the owners was excellent.

Do not sled on the hill behind the hotel.
Reviewed By wildschweinjThis is not a negative review on the hotel. Just a warning of how unsafe it is to sled on the hill. Behind the hotel is a ski lift that was not open. The hill is relatively steep with two fences and a couple of buildings with construction materials stored at the bottom. Today a child rode down the hill on a sled straight into a concrete pipe. A helicopter transported the child to a hospital. No helmet. Parents ensure your children have helmets. Sled only in areas that are open and free of fences, buildings, trees, etc. Grid location 47.263763,10.352159. Do not underestimate the danger.

Reviewed By ManderjWe visited this restaurant once whilst on holiday. We had a lovely meal and had venison which was so tasty. My husband and our friend had the meat platter which was great and included lovely grilled meats and chips and salad. Service was very good and lovely to see the waitresses in fyrollean dresses. There was also a good dessert selection. Overall a lovely evening out.

The kitchen was gut-equipped. We felt like home. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They responded to all emails and questions that we had before and during our stay.

Wonderful place, where you feel like home

Since first moment of entering the place we were impressed of warm welcoming of Mrs. Marion, who was very friendly and helpful. Guesthouse itself is made in best traditions of Tirol, where you can feel the soul of Austria. Separate attention worth balcony with amazing view. Except these we got a great homemade breakfast,made by host. For sure,we will back to this place and recommend to everybody who wants to feel the atmosphere of Tirol.

Amazing short ski
