Warm welcome by a lovely hostess
Reviewed By Robert JThe owner is a lovely lady with loads of energy. It was always nice to talk with her before we went on a day trip for which at times she had good tips and advices or afterwards. She rents out rooms and smaller appartments. Up to about four or five in total. We rented a room for a couple of days and a good basic breakfast was served everyday. Price quality ratio of this bed and breakfast is good and one of the better. Yes it is simple and nothing fancy. But it serves pretty much all purposes. Good size room and storage. Decent sized bathroom. Clean. The beds are going to be replaced soon which is good. For most people these beds were probably too hard. Good location for a few days and make day trips or walk in the woods. Restaurants are in the main village as this location is more outside the village. Which is also advantage as you can enjoy some peace and tranquility. Good spot for road trips in Germany like Passau and Regensburg, but also Austria and Tsjech Republic. Even local hiking and cycling is very well possible. Reviews of some restaurants can be found in my account as well. We would book again for a few days. We really had a great time and a good laugh with her. She made us feel very welcome.

Sehr sauber , sehr geräumig. Ein Wochenende ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Ein herzlicher Empfang. Parken direkt vor der Türe möglich. Wir kommen sicher wieder

Reviewed By MelleleESehr unfreundliches, unterkühltes Personal, ganz untypisch für die Gegend! Einzig 2 Damen waren freundlich. Der Inhaber setzte dem ganzen noch die Krone auf. Wir hatten mit Gutscheinen (Übernachtung samt Halbpension) gebucht, den Gutschein für die Verpflegung im Wert von 170 Euro wollte der Inhaber nicht annehmen. Uns wurden über 200 Euro für 2 Tage Halbpension in Rechnung gestellt. Das Problem mussten wir selbst klären, es wurde uns noch vorgeworfen, dass wir seine Zeit verschwendeten, weil er auch weitermachen müsse. Das Essen ist eine Zumutung! Unser Salatteller kam geschmacklich aus dem Großkantineneimer, einzig 2 Salatblätter und der Strunk vom Chinakohl sahen frisch aus! Vieles kam wohl aus dem Tiefkühler, die Soßen schmecken wie mit Fertigpulver angerührt. Auf jedem Gericht war Sprühsahne. Für ein Gericht von der Karte musste ich 4 Euro draufzahlen und erhielt gefühlt das gleiche Fleisch vom Vortag, mit der gleichen Soße und verkochten Spätzle (angeblich hausgemacht) statt Reis. Mein Mann ist Vegetarier, er erhielt an beiden Tagen eine Gemüsepfanne (vermutlich TK) ohne irgendwelche Beilagen (aber hey, immerhin war die Sprühsahne dabei!). Der Kaiserschmarrn war fast schwarz und wurde ohne Apfelmus serviert. Am zweiten Abend stand der Salat für uns bereits vorbereitet da, obwohl wir eine halbe Stunde früher da waren. Das Frühstück ist nur vom billigsten (wir zahlten 48 Euro pro Person und Tag in Halbpension!), alles fertig, alles schmeckt wie aus der Dose z.B. der Obstsalat. Das Rührei ist meiner Meinung nach Vollei und selbst das war nicht richtig durchgegart. Der See vor der Türe ist ganz grün, darin möchte man nicht baden. Man wies uns nicht auf den Privatbereich des Hotels hin, auch nicht, dass man dort Rudern KÖNNTE. Das einzige Boot das im Wasser war, war auch voller Wasser. Die Liegen sind alt und schon verblichen, alles ist sehr lieblos. Der Wellnessbereich war geschlossen, obwohl dies auf der Homepage unter den Infos zu Covid-19 nicht vermerkt war, sondern erst im Wellness-Untermenü. Obwohl unser Gutschein explizit zum Wellness-Portfolio von Jochen Schweizer gehörte, wurden wir auch in der Buchungsbestätigung erneut nur auf die Homepage verwiesen. Transparente Kommunikation sieht anders aus. Zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts waren 3, später nur 2 Zimmer vergeben, man hätte das Wellness durchaus für Einzelpersonen öffnen können. In dem anderen Hotel, in dem wir hinterher waren, war dies unter Zahlung einer Reinigungsgebühr problemlos möglich. Der einzige Pluspunkt sind die 2 netten Damen. Eine hat uns empfangen, bot uns 2 Zimmer an und wir durften uns das schönere aussuchen. Die andere war die junge Dame, die beim Frühstück und beim Abendessen serviert hat und sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend war.
