The “Aretanassa” Hotel is the most imposing building the visitor sees on the left side as he enters the port of Halki, Emporios. The first usage of the building was the storage of sponges, equipment and the organization of production disposal. In the years that followed, the usage has changed and it became the town's guesthouse. "Aretanassa hotel" has a total of 19 rooms, all of which have a unique sea view: 1 single room, 12 double rooms, 5 triple rooms and 1 superior triple room (junior suite), even serving the needs of a four-member family. Two of its double rooms are specially designed and equipped with facilities for people with disabilities. The hotel "Aretanassa" has a unique cuisine of culinary delights and flavors. All the menus and choices have a Mediterranean identity. The breakfast is included in the room rate. At “Aretanassa” there is also a bar, looking at the wonderful reflections in the sea. Amazing hotel, amazing location and amazing staff
Reviewed By Mandytomlinson62We have just spent 2 weeks at the hotel. We were made to feel very welcome right from being met from the boat by Yiannis to the minute we left 2 weeks later. Our room was lovely and the views incredible. I really enjoyed waking early and sitting on the balcony, watching the sunrise, the fishing boats go by and Halki waking up. In the evening it was lovely to see all the lights twinkling on over the island. I have been coming to Halki since the early 90's and this was the first time at the hotel. It was wonderful- Yiannis and the staff were so helpful, friendly, kind and gave a really personal and professional service. The hotel is exceptionally clean, the air conditioning was very welcome, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very good as was lunch when we decided to spend the whole day at the hotel. Access to the sea was easy and the sunbeds very comfy to relax on. We will definately be returning to this wonderful hotel next year.

Its the perfect place to stay and is extremely well equipped with everything you could need and more .. the hospitality is second to none. Excellent air-conditioning and the most comfortable bed in Greece ! ( we sleep like logs here ) Muses staff are on hand for any queries you may have. Its perfectly placed along the harbour for watching the goings on without any huge hike or too many steps and with the steps into the sea at the front an early morning swim is just the perfect start to the day ..an excellent place to stay on Halki

Reviewed By tsampikas2018Once we arrived, Marianthi the hostess picked us up from the port and straight away she told us everything we needed to know, she made us feel welcome and very well taken care of. She is very hard working, kind and helpful. The house was very clean,spacious with natural light, with a minimal, traditional and beautiful decoration. The location is very good and I would definitely recommend it.

Reviewed By John Sclean crisp with good position close to the warm Mediterranean ,but the beds are typically greek ... lacking in north European comfort ....rather hard and unforgiving .But for this price this is a good bet.

Reviewed By toniae64Κάναμε κράτηση στο Anna's House μέσω πλατφόρμας κρατήσεων. Οι φωτογραφίες που είδαμε μας εδειχαν την θέα από τα επάνω διαμερίσματα που ήταν καλή και αυτή η οποία θα θέλαμε. Όταν φθάσαμε, μας δόθηκε το ισόγειο διαμέρισμα ιδανικό για 4 άτομα (εμείς είμαστε δύο). Το διαμέρισμα είναι μεγάλο και καθαρό - ο Ερι και η σύζυγος του κάνουν εξαιρετική δουλειά και είναι πολύ πρόθυμοι να εξυπηρετήσουν. Ο Ερη προσπάθησε να μας πείσει ότι αυτό είναι καλύτερο καθώς πιο μεγάλο, αλλά για εμάς η θέα είναι σημαντικό προσόν για να νοικιάσουμε ένα σπίτι. Μας άρεσε - η προσβασιμότητα του στα πάντα καθώς είναι σχεδόν στην παραλία του Εμποριού, η καθαριότητα, το εξαιρετικό wifi, ο κλιματισμός, η γρήγορη απάντηση του ιδιοκτήτη αλλά και η άμεση εξυπηρέτηση του Ερη, φροντιστή του σπιτιού Τι δεν μας άρεσε - το διαμέρισμα πρόσφερε μόνον 3 κρεμάστρες για τα ρούχα, 3 μανταλάκια, δεν είχε πετσέτες στην κουζίνα, είχε μόνον 1 χαρτί τουαλέττας, δεν είχε καθόλου φως καθώς μπορείς μεν να ανοίξεις τα παράθυρα αλλά δεν έχουν σίτες. Δεν είχε θέα στην θάλασσα, μερική θέα, τα μαξιλάρια στις πολυθρόνες της βεράντας ήταν σκισμένα και ο σωλήνας στο ντους προβληματικός και η απλώστρα ρούχων στο δίπλα οικόπεδο.

We stay every year at this wonderful villa, so nice decorated by the owners with respect to the tradition. The view from the balcony is exceptional.

Reviewed By trevorf668Have to climb uphill a little from the harbour but well worthwhile. Lovely little upstairs apartment that will sleep 4 but better suited for 2. Large terrace with good views over the harbour to watch the boats. Modern kitchen and bathroom, very well equipped including coffee machine with excellent Illy coffee provided. Cleaned very well every couple of days. Friendly cat from next doors likes to visit. Bed and pillows very comfortable unlike many places in Greece.

Reviewed By Ilias_PanouΗ τοποθεσία είναι μοναδική και η θέα δεν σε αφήνει να φύγεις από το δωμάτιο, ώστε να περιηγηθείς στο υπόλοιπο νησί. Η κυρία Ρούλα μας έφερε φρούτα για να μας καλωσορίσει. Η απόσταση από το λιμάνι είναι μόλις 4-5' λεπτά. Το δωμάτιο είναι πεντακάθαρο και πολύ ήσυχο.
