Reviewed By 1304SuzzWonderful hotel with very friendly, helpful staff. The food and 5-course dinners are truly EXCELLENT! The 2 bedroom apartment is clean, modern, spacious and luxurious. It is family friendly and well-located, with wellness services and amenities such as saunas and swimming pool. Be prepared to climb lots of steps if staying in one of the upper apartments, but the view of the Black Forest is great.

Reviewed By johnw000tNice hotel and joyful staff. The restaurant is nice as well as the breakfast. Single room is clean, the bed is a little bit small but confortable. The balcony’s view is beautiful specially during sunrise. The parking lot is big enough to park.

Exceptional food and service
Reviewed By I TWe went three times in one week here to eat. No lazy chef, menu changes daily and his dishes were one of the best I had. We loved the sauerbraten, schweinebraten, and pfifferlinge . The service was fast and very friendly and efficient. We enjoyed every meal there. reservations are recommended. Even the salads had a great touch with rohcost added. The side salad was big, I do not know how big the large salad is.

Reviewed By uschi1954100Ein nettes Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß, haben alle einen Balkon und sind sehr sauber. Es gibt ein ausreichendes leckeres Frühstücksbuffet und auch das Abendessen ist sehr zu empfehlen. Zusätzlich ist die "Krippena" Besichtigung im Haus ein unbedingtes "Muss". Ich kann das Hotel sehr empfehlen.

Reviewed By MissisMarpleGroße Dachterrasse. Alle Tische stehen schön weit auseinander. Bedienung war vergnügt und freundlich. Essen gut und gutbürgerlich und alles selbst gemacht. Auch der Salat (für mich die Bewährungsprobe bei Restaurants) war lecker - jeder Sorte individuell angemacht, nicht nur einfach etwas Dressing drüber gekleckst. Die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Wir konnten aus den Resten am nächsten Tag noch ein Mittagessen für zwei zaubern. Damen-Toiletten sind im UG. Kellerschachtlicht. Bewegungsmelder. Neu und sauber.

Reviewed By 436danielawDie Nacht war früh hereingebrochen. Es war wieder mitten im Monat Dezember Winter geworden. Die nasse Schwarzwaldstraße wand sich durch das Gewirr der hohen dunklen Tannen. Ein Blick auf die Uhr zeigte uns, daß es nach objektiven Gesichtspunkten noch gar nicht spät war. Die schmale Landstraße schien ans Ende der Welt zu führen. Hätten wir nicht lieber bescheid sagen sollen ? 18h30 schien doch wirklich nicht so spät und wir müssten doch jetzt bald da sein. Ah... Enzklösterle ! Einmal rechts wieder links, da ! Das ist das Haus. Wie steigen aus und huschen durch den scheußlich nassen Regen zur erleuchteten Eingangstür der 'Enztalperle'. Die Hausherrin begrüßt uns freudig. "Ich dachte schon, sie kommen nicht mehr", sagt sie besorgt. "Wir hatten schon Angst Sie geben die Ferienwohnung jemand anderem", antworte ich erleichtert. Es ist fast schon eine Heimkehr, doch wir waren noch nie im Schwarzwald und haben noch alles zu entdecken: die Schwarzwälder Waldweihnacht, die dunklen verkleideten Gestalten des Pelzmärtel mit seinen schwarzen Gehilfen und dem Christkind, die heisse Sauna, die uns danach wieder aufwärmte, und vieles vieles mehr..wir wollen schließlich nicht alles gleich verraten...

Nice lunch
Reviewed By Alison SMy friend and I stopped on a nearby campsite and came here for lunch. The waitress didn't speak English but sent out the owner who translated the menu for us which we very much appreciated. Schnitzel which came with chips and a great side salad. Service was quick and the food was lovely and what we were expecting.
