Reviewed By Geoff GThis is what a resort should all be about. Prime location, Friendly staff and guests made to feel at home. There is a relaxing laid back approach where time is island time and for people that travel you know what I mean. The ride from the airport to the resort is part of the experience a bumpy dusty road passing shacks and fields abandoned houses and abounded cars makes you think, OMG where are we going. Then BAM, suddenly out of nowhere the landscape gives way to manicured lawns, swaying palms water features and welcome cocktail drinks all set with postcard-perfect views. The entire team from the GM down to the local handyman have one agenda, and that is is make your stay AMAZING. So many resorts these days, especially in AUS, seem to base the level of service you receive based on the total of your spend. There is nothing too hard for the team from last-minute requests including bonfire dinner on the beach or couples massages the team go above and beyond. Looking forward to booking a flight back here ASAP.

The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was a comfortable and enjoyable one. They organised our tours, gave us some local tips, and always had a smile on their face. Personally, we enjoyed the fact the resort was quiet, although it meant a few of the evening entertainment events were cancelled (which was understandable). It is basic accommodation but meets all your needs. The outdoor shower is great! The location right on the beach, the smiles on everyone's faces, and the overall vibe of Vanuatu will see us returning again, and again.

Reviewed By 661kathyrThe Fatumaru Lodge wasn't on our vacation list, nor was the island of Efate. We had reservations on the island of Espirito Santo for almost a month but due to COVID-19, after less than two weeks into our vacation, we needed to relocate to Efate in case a flight became available for my husband and myself to get back to the United States. As Vanuatu announced a state of emergency and all countries we would need to transit through closed their borders, we found ourselves stranded on Efate Island. Long story short, we found Fatumaru Lodge and spent the remainder of our time staying there. We can't say enough about the excellent service and warm welcome we received from Rae, the manager...Julie and Nettie! (sorry if I misspelled any names). We also would like to express our gratitude to the owner(s) as through the owner(s) and Rae, they negotiated us a very reasonable rate for our unexpected stay. The lodge and grounds itself are beautiful, very well kept, serene and you couldn't find more welcoming staff. My husband and I enjoyed our daily walks into town where there are many shops and restaurants. The walk along the sea is beautiful! We would highly recommend staying at The Fatumaru Lodge if planning a vacation to the island of Efate in Vanuatu or if even if you happen to find yourself stranded there. We are so appreciative of our time there, the staff and all the people in general in Vanuatu....they are some of the most welcoming and gracious people we've come across in our travels. Great spot for a kayak from our resort
Reviewed By Bek BStaying at the resort opposite (Warwick le lagon) and decided to kayak across the lagoon to visit. Lots of fun on the kayaks, made to feel welcome on the island despite not staying there. Snorkeling little murky with not a lot to see aside from starfish and scary slugs however we enjoyed a relaxed couple of hours on the beach with some drinks. Theres a playground etc there which would be great for kids.

I have missed every bit of the island - the beautiful accomodation, the fresh produce, the tasty cocktails, the most phenomenal kyaking, the Day Spa! The list goes on. It is simply paradise. Until we can travel again, I will keep looking at all my amazing pics from previous trips.

Reviewed By don pWould have no hesitation recommending this place ,Nasama is a resort that is basically privately own apartments , nice place to chill out , good quality (expensive) restaurant , buses to port Vila pass the front of the resort every few minutes 150 Vatu per person each way , one slight negative though almost all the sand had been washed away from the little beach , not much the resort can do about that , though

Reviewed By azadehsaneiI loved this place, we travelled with my 2 sons and my husband, It feels like being home, clean rooms, our room was close to the ocean and we could hear the sound of waves and also a cool breeze, close to hideaway, and there is place on the other side of the road called wet n wild which a nice place to visit too, very friendly staff, Geraldine and Joe will do everything to keep visitors happy, this place feels like home, if you are looking for a place to stay away from the crowd and you enjoy the nature, this is a must-visit place.

People super friendly, rooms were really good, air con was bonus on the hot days. our room could have done with a little TLC, but nothing to stop us from going again. Wedding planner Soloute( not sure if i spelt right) was awesome, so helpful on wedding day , and great with keeping us up to date with plans, she saved the day. also at the main entrance was Frank for Tanna, he was super friendly and helpful, hope to hear from him one day , we gave him our email to keep in touch. Its because of these 2 people and the friendly staff we would go back to stay.

Could improve wifi it exits constantly and scarcely interfaces. Pool is overall quite the bar mixed drinks are yum. Breakfast is normal oat, toast and so on Just check your bill at checkout they attempted to charge for the free breakfast and the two evenings we had just paid. Planned to remain two evenings however we remained for our entire stay. Much obliged folks!

Buffet Breakfast not worth it.
Reviewed By KaicritiqueWent to the buffet breakfast a couple months ago and was dissapointed then. Tried it again, and it was even worst. Food is bland, no creativity. Things were always missing, so had to keep asking for things to be refilled. Cooking omelettes in the restaraunt causes smoke! Dishes dont get cleared away. Hashbrowns have been missing since the last time i went. Bring them back! Only hot food, tinned baked beans, overcooked sausages, pancakes and an attempt on fried rice. Frozen pasteries. It is pineapple season and even the pineapple juice is from a bottle. Never checked on. Waitresses gather in the back to chat. Dont take the initiative. Overall not a good experience.
