Not good enough for the price
Reviewed By 963andrejssWe got a double deluxe room which I suppose was recently renovated. It was 650 EUR per night, which seemed too expensive. Location of the room was in the fartherst corner of a long corridor, which didn't seem to cosy. Feeling inside the room was that it is located in a basement. Bathroom shover room still had pencil writing on the new tiles and one place of tile connection still had some tile shavings stuck to it. Toilet floor consisted of one tile, which was broken in the left corner. Overall, I don't understand what makes it a 5 star hotel.

Relaxing vacation
Reviewed By 293mimmicaWe had a really comfortable stay for whole 1 week. All the staff was very nice but especially Mr. Goran in the reception was very helpful, friendly yet very professional. The spa was great not many people really a spot to come and just relax. Pity that the hammam was not functioning because the glass door was broken. We had everything working well apart that. The house we stayed in was equipped with everything we needed including a BBQ. Unquestionably, We will come back.

The room is well decorated, very clean and had a beautiful / clean bathroom. The common area is amazing. A nice fire place that you can use, nice comfortable couches, a big window with a nice view and 2 big tables where they serve breakfast or where you can play a game.

The season hasn’t really started so it was pretty calm, excellent to go away and relax. We took an extra big tent, and it was spacious, clean (loved that) and simple. The restaurant and breakfast was great as well. Lots of care was put in every detail. Would definitely come back with friends to unload.

Just next to the famous "Sanglier des Ardennes", the hotel is centrally located and offering all what you can expect to enjoy a nice stay: the rooms are renovated and with all the necessary amenities, you are enjoying a parking space for your car all along your stay, free Wi-Fi,... Definitively a great choice, at a very competitive price, for those who are prefering human and friendly contacts.

Beautiful hotel, but don’t go there
Reviewed By StefanBraemGood: - Breakfast is very good - Friendly staff - Cosy room Bad: - Our room wasn’t a rustic one as always shown in the official pictures, but one with a lot less character - WiFi isn’t the fastest - No night reception And then there was this major incident that blew away everything. The rooms are not airconditioned and was situated in front of the “Le 7 by Juliette”, a restaurant owned by the same person as Le Victoria Hotel, at the other side of the street. As the name “Le 7 nu Juliette” implies, it opened on July the 7th. Aparantely, the restaurant organises a big party at its outside courtyard on that date, every year. We stayed that night in the hotel and we slept for about 2 hours - combined. It was a completely miserable experience and we woke up with a heavy headache. There was a DJ banging music until the early morning hours in the middle of the town on an outside square, just in front of our room and no night reception. We called the police but in absence of Durbuy having its own patrol unit, we didn’t saw any action from them and the party just went on ruining our night and thus stay. The next morning during check out I went complaining and asked for a refund. The receptionist didn’t considered that a fair question. I asked for the manager but she said there was none, although she herself had not the permission to allow for a refund. So same story: this hotel (owner) doesn’t give a thing about the people who are paying him. Beautiful hotel, but don’t go there.

It´s a Family and Kids -friendly Hotel for Outdooractivists but also great for Congresses and Familyreunions. It might occur that the Parkingsport run out or that you have to get used to find your way to the room after the Doors are locked.

Front office skills totally lacking

It looked as if this restaurant ticked all the boxes and went there in the early evening to be met by a front of house employee who asked in an arrogant manner if we had a reservation. We said no and were told they were fully booked in a way that meant go away and don't come back. We took the message and left and for his information will never return and do our best to ensure no one else does either. Maybe they were fully booked although the restaurant was empty when we arrived at about 19:00 hours but there are ways to say they are full. If the management would like someone to give their arrogant staff a lesson in people skills I'd be delighted to return and provide my professional sevices free of charge. Until then I suggest you give this place a wide berth unless you enjoy obnoxious employees. PS The food may be good but we were refused entry so couldn't comment.
