Nice hotel for tourists with families
Reviewed By Headhunter2001This is one a good choice for foreign tourists with kids as it is located near the Yuseong Spa Subway stop, has rooms with 2 double beds (room was decent size for family of four), is bookable though 3rd party sites online, and surprisingly a decent fitness center with 3 threadmills, 2 stationary bikes, some new weight machines, barbells and a bench. Only complaint is about Wyndham, Ramada’s parent company. This hotel nor the Ramada we stayed at in Yeosu are bookable on the Wyndham Rewards website. You can find the hotels but no matter what dates you put in there is no availability. This means you can’t earn or use Wyndham Rewards at these hotels. Maybe because the 3rd party sites always offer lower rates?

Very nice stay
Reviewed By fscholarI stayed two nights here. Room was very clean and well maintained. The room had many little things of convenience including a fridge and a coffee port. We had dinner at the buffet restaurant on the 19th floor. I was surprised at the impressive view of Daejeon from the restaurant, which I thought is a quite boring city. Proximity to the Daejeon Convention City makes it an extremely attractive choice if going to a conference. There is a grocery store across the street, The only negative side is that the hotel is somewhat far from the city center, although I don't think there is anything of much interest in the city. Overall a decent hotel of very good value.

Reviewed By JumboJetJohnnyStayed at the Yousung during a recent international exposition. The hotel is no-frills, clean and the staff are professional, helpful & very friendly. There are Chinese and Korean restaurants, a lobby lounge and a buffet which has a great lunch selection that is quite modestly priced. The health & fitness facilities are extensive, with a spa, sauna, swimming pool and one of the best equipped gymnasiums I have visited in Asia. The rooms are simple. They are spacious enough with good beds and adequate air-conditioning but there are few of the trimmings that one would find in a 4-star IHG or Starwood group hotel. So if 24hour room-service, the full array of toiletries and a minibar are your thing, you will be disappointed. The Yousung is centrally located in Daejeon, inside the city ring road and really only a 10 minute cab ride from anywhere. The local neighbourhood is sketchy. It looks demure enough during the day, but it seems a little seedy after dark. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or unsafe. The hotel has a 100 year heritage due to its proximity to the local spa. It has clearly had a number of facelifts over the journey but is a little tired and maybe due for another. That said, if you're looking for a perfectly acceptable place to stay whilst you're doing business or seeing the local sites, the Yousung is fine.

Reviewed By MajamamiVery happy with the stay. Staff helpful and English understanding. Problem with our toilet at 1 am was fixed within 5 mins of the call to front desk. We stayed an additional night with a 3rd guest. Our second room was cold upon entering but finally warmed within a couple hours.

Reviewed By thelonious22We didn’t expect much at Good Morning Residence Hotel HUE because of its reasonable rates. But we were pleasantly surprised with the excellent condition and the cleanliness of the well equipped rooms that had a kitchen and a washing machine making it ideal for longer stays also. Number of shady looking people were staying there but that’s out of the hotel’s control. The location near a good selection of restaurants and a department store was another plus. As we travel to Daejeon often, this will be our hotel from now on.

The staff are warm greeting us with smile and rooms so beautiful and clean, bath room is clean. Center view is my favor, I'll love and back for next trip.

Convenient to the bus station

At the weekend there was a knock at my room door at 7am. When I answered it there was a guy with my breakfast. During the week the restaurant was open for breakfast. The food selection for breakfast was a bit limited. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor that is very good and popular with locals. Located around the hotel are lots of shops etc with a large mall across the street. The room was clean bed comfortable and the facilities in the room were ample

Reviewed By Inge MIdeal place when visiting our sun at Kaist university, and the unique central location of the city of Daejeon in South Korea. Rooms spacious and luxurious. Worth mentioning: beds, bathroom, linen, laptop,... Very friendly staff (ask for Leslie). Only one main point of improvement: breakfast was poor.
