THE place to stay in San Antero
Reviewed By Carla_BrusselsInitially, I was going to stay 2 days in this hostel, but at the end I spend 6 days in this beautiful place. I came from Cartagena and needed some escaping from the busy town. I stayed in Dora Hostel, the other hostel of MonoCuco, the owner. He suggested me to go to San Antero, and I didn't regret it for 1 second. MonoCuco, the owner, and Yuli make you feel at home on holidays. The atmosphere is great, the music is fantastic and the environment too. The hostel : Close to the beach (15min walking). The hostel offers a kitchen to cook, but they make also great breakfast. The rooms are clean and nice, and the hostel has hammocks, tv, sofa, ... to make you feel at home and relax. They offer a lot of tours, to the Mangroves, the Volcano, to the village, to Lorica,... I also went diving, which was splendid (the best diving in the Colombian Caraibes according to me ; and, I'm a dive instructor :)). They also offer bikes, which are great to hang out in the surroundings, or go quicker to the beach. San Antero : smaller and less touristic than the surrounding Covenas and Tolu. Also, there is more nature. And that's what I like. I definitely recommed this place !

Reviewed By Rafa0216idea para paseos en grupo cuentan con cocina para cada cabaña pero si quieres descansar de ella te pueden conseguir a alguien para que te cocine y organice la cabaña a un precio muy asequible o contratar las comidas en el restaurante de el lugar.

The hotel is beautiful and offers a breathtaking view of the sunset from the rooftop pool. The rooftop pool is pristine and feels exclusive. The rooms are modern and clean. There is really nothing negative to say about the hotel. It is located near a supermarket and mall. There are many restaurants in the area that offer a wide variety of cuisines, The food at the hotel was also fantastic and reasonably priced. There are many boutiques in the area for shopping. It is a quick walk to the river and a short cab ride to get downtown. We arrived at Hotel Sites Monteria after a brief stay in San Antero, We wanted a place to unwind that was close to the airport before heading back to the states. The staff at the hotel truly made us feel welcome and made sure that all of our needs were met. We were nervous at first because we had to get tested for COVID 19 before returning to New York and the hotel made it happen with very short notice. Rosendo the hotel manager provided us with insights into the city and the surrounding area, I really can't say enough about the service we received and the beauty we experienced staying at Hotel Sites Monteria. Thank you.

Calling them (the prices are even higher than on booking) they send you on their website. I didn't like to be treated by corporate people. Being in Monteria, I noticed that this hotel is incorporated in a shopping center and on the other part there is a very noisy street.

Reviewed By LUZ JEl hotel queda en el centro, de pronto hay que esquivar las 2 calles cercanas que te sacan inmediatamente al rio, porque se ubica el mercado y son un poco feas, sobre todo en la noche. El hotel no tiene parqueadero pero tienen un convenio con uno cercano y hay otro a dos cuadras. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero comodas, el baño tambien es muy pequeño. La atencion del personal es muy buena, son muy cordiales.

Reviewed By OckapImy third time here, since 2012. Monteria has more hotels since I last visit, but Costa Bonita just seems very warm and cozy. The staff , friendly and helpful and they still remember me. I requested the suite, just for more comfort, but the bathrooms still need improvement, too small and no place to put your personal items. The rates are higher now as expected, about $117 per night, but I didn't see major improvements to the rooms, the restaurant or the outside. The food is about the same, typical delicious Monteria food, and the staff is just there to serve and feed you what you request. Overall, I was happy and I will go back even if Monteria has more hotels
