A breath of fresh air for dog owners!

My partner and I were blown away at how welcoming the staff at Dunmore House Hotel were when we visited West Cork this weekend. Having been recommended the venue as a dog-friendly place to eat, we were welcomed and put completely at ease by the staff. They were great with our dog Joey who was only delighted to get all the attention! The views from the outdoor area were absolutely stunning as they overlook Incheydoney beach. A huge thanks to the hotelier, Carol who had heard that we needed to pop to the shop to get some milk before we headed back to our accommodation and brought us out some to take home! Those small touches are greatly appreciated. The food, service and overall atmosphere were all top class. We look forward to returning on our next trip to West Cork in the near future.

One of the best in Ireland

We stayed here for a birthday and staff just went above and beyond. We were travelling with 2 young toddlers in our group and they did everything possible to make it easy on us, even bringing food down from the buffet when the girls were getting cranky. The staff were so kind, the little discos in the evening were so lovely and inclusive. One night our daughter fell off her chair and the dj came and gave her a teddy and stickers to cheer her up. The set up of the apartments is absolutely perfect from bed rails to stair gates they think of everything. Absolutely faultless and cant wait to come back.

Nice Stay

Reviewed By Z4026TVdarrenh

We were in Clonakilty just one night and chose An Sugan due to its location at the centre of town. It's an old, historic building and the decor is in line with that. The room was clean and comfortable and we had a good nights sleep, the breakfast in the morning was really good and there was a good selection to choose from. The gentleman serving was very jolly and upbeat which gives a good start to the day. A couple of minor pints though, there was no shampoo/shower gel in the shower, just a bottle of hand soap. The TV also didn't work when I tried it upon waking in the morning. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.
