Reviewed By melisakaurThis is totally a new property by Ascott, near Auto City. That's it ! Things experienced, 1. Before my arrival, bad first impression. I called the hotel to inquire about the ASR member benefit, The operator transferred my call to the reservation department, Umi. I asked her, please explain the benefit of ASR membership & how many percent discount I will be getting. She told me, I am not sure please check at website. How I should take this answer, she is lazy to answer,or she don’t know her brand product knowledge? If she is lazy, please take action on her. If she don’t know her product knowledge, Please train her. Continuously, whatever, I asked she say I check for you & I am now checking for you . I am clueless, where should I call then to get more information about this new property. 2. On my arrival, it took about 1.30 minutes for me to get my room key. Reason, don’t have clean rooms for me to check in. One Malay guy on duty, was totally look unhappy & pressure, rude. Doesn’t look like can handle the situation. Where, is the manager then? To take the situation under control. During my stay, the same malay guy I saw was smoking near the lobby glass door with his uniform. HUH ! Can staff smoke near to lobby main entrance with uniform ? Is this you guys second home ? 3. Lift – They only have 2 lifts for 39 floors of apartments. 1 service lift is remain not used, because said for staff. But, during my 5 nights stay, I didn’t see any staff working including HOUSEKEEPERS. 4. Cleaned, rooms can be smelly, dirty, oily, rubbish not cleared from the previous guest. Please bear with it. Just be thankful for the place they give us to sleep. 5. Please keep using your same dirty & wet towel again & again. Because, towel changing service is not available. Rubbish cleaning service is not available. 6. Self service Laundry cannot be used, because finance not working. SIMPLE TO SAY EVERYTHING IS CANNOT !! Just Come & stay & go back quietly. Don’t expect anything ! I am sure, the team is very small. I just wonder is there any leader for the team ? Please train them, please watch them. Because, you are in hospitality business & representing a Big Brand.

Reviewed By Saiful HMy daughter call receptionist for an extra towel but he refuse to give it. I don't know whether it is the hotel policy or he just don't want to give it. But I think this hotel is nit a good hotel to stay because of low level hospitality given.

Please Fix Shower Drainage
Reviewed By syaminhanisMy room was not worth the price. Carpet was really smelly as if they have never cleaned it. Shower didn’t drain quickly as if something’s been clogging it. Quite annoying because I travelled in group so we had to wait for it to get drained before the next person use shower. Most reviews mentioned the shower drainage so there must be a problem with the management. The location is not really strategic, we definitely wanted to explore some food stalls around the area but night seems to be a bit scary as it is surrounded by developing houses. But love the ambience at the hotel entrance.

Reviewed By Celia SSri Indar is a value for money hotel. The air-conditioned rooms are clean and spacious and each room has it's own water purifier. The bathrooms are clean and supplied with basic toileteries. On top of these, breakfast if also provided. I have stayed there a few times and will go again

What we like about this hotel: - Private parking with security over night - Great services by the staffs, they are very accommodating - Enough electrical sockets for you to charge your phone/ electrical stuffs - Great bed and pillow - Love the fridge - We have many couches in the room

An OK Hotel
Reviewed By slengkmy husband and i chose to stay here because it is within walking distance to a bridal studio that we were engaged with. it is an average, small room with not much room for walking after we put 2 luggages on the floor. cleanliness is okay. not many tv channels. there is a water station outside our room. shower head water pressure is a little low. the knob (not sure if this is what you call it), which you pull to turn on the water doesnt indicate the temperature but rather the water pressure. if you turn it to your left, the water gets little. ifyou turn it to your right, it comes down in torrents. i find it weird and off bcz that is not how the water knob works. receptionist works almost at a snail-like pace. breakfast is a simple set of eggs and bread in different cooking way. but there is a cafe downstairs which serves better breakfast that what the hotel can offer. however, that will cost more. we paid about RM50 for a breakfast there on our first day. there is a kopitiam nearby, serving local food for breakfast n lunch. we had wantan mee there on our second day which costs only RM10 for 2 pax. hailing rides are easy so you can either rent a car to drive around or just call for Grab.

Impromptu weekend trip
Reviewed By zunnurWe reached Penang at 7.30am and went straight to look for breakfast. Once finished, we drove around Bandar Perda to find this Hotel Alpha after reading few ok reviews about it. The Reception(Mina) was very kind to let us check in early at 10.30am yayy! Room and toilet were clean (exceeded my expectation). Perhaps due to the Hotel was only open last year. If they keep up with these 2 good points, I wouldn’t mind to comeback. Kindly note that this hotel is in the mainland, you need to cross the bridge / take the ferry to get to Penang Island.

Reviewed By Sean WHotel charged more than booking price. Booking made in December but hotel charged much more expensive rate while check in. Not recommended. Stay away. Looking for refund and explanation from hotel management!!
