Reviewed By davlew14More of a business town than a tourist destination, but can highly recommend this hotel for both business or pleasure. Friendly check in, large modern rooms with all amenities. Roof top has a large pool (20m), so ideal for swimmers. Breakfast buffet also great, especially considering covid restrictions in place during our visit. Well located and only 5 mins walk to the promenade and jetty for boat trips (whale watching tours & visits to Pacific coast beaches). Highly recommended!

Reviewed By cballesterosThe hotel is located right next to the port. It is really tall and has an amazing view. Right in front of the bay. It is also located right next to a row of bars and can get pretty loud, I have no problem with noise so it was fine for me. The bathroom was really spacious. You have to ask for a room with a view though because not all of them face towards the bay. (Photo: view from the restaurant of the hotel).

Reviewed By GustavoAngaritaMuy caro para lo malo. Me da vergüenza decirle a los administradores qué hay ratas en el cielo raso fue horrible escucharlas. No hay desayuno. Y está muy encima de la calle. La habitación no es tan mala buena cama y eso pero tv ni se ve. Y el baño tiene una puerta ridícula.

Very well situated hotel in front of the main beach of Ladrilleros. Confortables rooms, pool, jacuzzi, hammocks, bar and restaurant. We also offer tours around the jungle and the sea like kayaking, hiking, cascades inside the jungle and much more!

Reviewed By MlerthEnjoyable stay, accessible to beach and walkable for exploring around the tiny town/locale. Beach is swimmable and walkable. We were there off-season (not sure when and if there is an 'on' season) so it was very quiet, with only a few home-made bars open, and felt like a recent storm maybe knocked off some beach front properties for the long term, but we really liked it. Food was nice. Quaint location this 'town', but memorable and worth visiting.

Reviewed By CJKLuxembourgThis feels like a grand institution from the past fallen on hard times, and in Buenaventura that means something. The whole building is chronically undermaintained - no room keys while I stayed, shower heads removed in all three rooms I checked. Staff are demoralised.

Reviewed By juanperramirezThis hotel is great, is very well located near the pier, the rooms are very clean and very cozy, the bathrooms are also very clean, it has hot water also. The breakfast is delicious, you can have a variety of fruits and they prepare your eggs how you want them, and you can eat with a great view to the sea, you can't go wrong with this place, the only thing I didn't like was that outside at late night it can get noisy, if you have light sleep i reccomend to bring some earplugs.

Reviewed By ZhargGood location just off the water front and transportation pier. Close to the central business district for a walk-about. Some heavy construction occurring as the street and parks are being rebuilt. Expect the sound of heavy equipment in the AM for a few more months. Great staff and accommodations. No hot water due to the construction but all other services were very good. Secure parking at a nearby hotel and they kept our unneeded baggage secure for a few days as we visited the outlying areas. Very good vista from the top floor restaurant and a great breakfast.

Excellent stay with an even more excellent food experience

The location, right along a strip of bars and restaurant, could be a little noisy at night but the hotel made sure to give us a room facing away from the noise. The room itself was spacious and clean. The highlight of our stay however was the hotel restaurant where we had our best meals in Colombia to date and meeting owners James and Maria, who double as chefs. Our dinner of fish with coco rice and fried plantain was beyond delicious. The fish was nicely marinated with a purée of herbs and spices and steamed instead of fried. For lunch the following day, we were served giant prawns cooked to perfection in a nicely spiced light coconut sauce filled with crab.
