Amazing and memorable trip
Reviewed By ashokp907Yet again, Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve didn't disappoint. Each time, it gets better. This time, with friends from India, we stayed at the luxury tents and found it perfect. Dinner and breakfast was delicious. The restaurant manager, Jeetesh, took extra care to get us vegetarian options. The staff was warm and courteous. Our night tour to watch green turtle laying eggs was wonderful under a galaxy of stars and cool breeze blowing across. We were fortunate to watch the turtles laying eggs. Our guide Hamad Al Amri gave us good information and his understanding and turtles of the turtles was very useful for us. Overall, it was a great evening. The Morning visit to watch turtles was successful with the sunrise providing us an amazing feeling on the lovely beach. A sumptuous breakfast followed, which meant that we carry wonderful memories of the visit again. Thanks to all of Ras Al Jinz staff and the hard working team at Omran, who are taking great efforts in promoting Oman tourism.

We were also offered espresso when we arrived which was very lovely. Apart from a slightly broken TV and very small leak in the bath, the stay was very good and perfect for a good nights rest before heading to Wadi Bani Khalid

Reviewed By Trail02895990061We were given two sea view rooms - A twin and a double. The double room had a double bed which was smaller than an average hotel double bed. The twin room was quite spacious. I highly recommend having breakfast at the hotel, they have an excellent buffet with a wide variety of foods (I don't recommend the restaurant Raydan across the road the chicken tasted off and bland - It seems to be quite overrated on google). The hotel staff were very good and helpful and even facilitated an early check-in. The room was clean enough. Whilst it isn't the fanciest hotel, it is worth staying here just for the view. It's definitely worth upgrading to a sea view room otherwise I would recommend staying a another hotel nearer to the Sur city centre. The sound of crashing waves at night makes for an amazing sleeping experience. We were lucky enough to observe bioluminescent plankton from the balcony which meant the water would glow blue with every wave. I'm not sure if this is an all year occurrence.

Reviewed By lupus72It has clean and very spacy rooms, big essential bathroom. Has a common kitchen that can be used by 2-3 rooms (it is divided like apartments). Personnel friendly and efficient, very accommodating. Not really located in central position, but good if having a car, in 3 minutes you reach the city centre.

Simple, Waterfront Location, Large Suite
Reviewed By hkg2009hkgThis is a good place for a simple night along Sur's waterfront road a short drive from the city's sights. I had a 2 bedroom suite which was large and had 2 bathrooms with plenty of hot water. A fridge, hot plate, and microwave were in the kitchen. Staff are friendly and there are dining options next door, including an Arabian restaurant next door serving good food at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately, the windows are a bit thin and the road outside gets quite busy late into the night, so street noise was a problem.

Reviewed By hilalabdIt is highly recommended. It has a fantastic sea view. We stayed 2 lovely comfortable nights. Besides the adult & kid swimming pools and play yard, the resort provide paid beach motor cycles. You can do your own barbecue or have resort meals.

Reviewed By Aloba3591We stayed 4 nights in Zaki apt. and we got a big room, n° 303. The staff were kindly, helpul like mr Saju, but a special mention to the manager Mr A. Rahnan. He was so kindly to let me use , at night, twice, for one hour each, the computer of the office, for my work. The breakfast was poor of sweeties and only the 3rd day we got a yogourt. They must improve the breakfast. Gppd position, walk distance from cornice. Ivanromeo.
