Lovely Place in budget
Reviewed By FedericaKlccVery suitable for travelers in transit. Clean place and friendly staff. Sheet and towels changed every day. Coffee and Tea always available. Independent Rooms are with private bathroom or Capsula common bath both comfortable. For those who want take a shower and sleep before go into jungle or town, after a long trip, this is definitely the place! Wi-Fi is free. Pls note that better if you have international plaque set charge.

The best among the worst
Reviewed By foody1foodyWe went to sibolga for a night because we want to fly to Jakarta, we tried to Find hotels, this is the best hotel in there, some of the hotel is really really bad, you can See how disgusting the floor, walk and ceiling, but this hotel better. Untill midnight they play live music in the hotel which is you still can hear from ur ROOM, they said there hotel much better in pandan, maybe next time, from now, we got no choice

Reviewed By Edwin TWas attending a convocation and since we have a family of 8, we wanted for all to stay together in the same house. We chance upon medan hostel which can cater 8 pax. The place is clean and have all the amenities. It has wifi and the tv reception is clear. The location is near to town and is easily accessible. Great for family

Reviewed By livih2014Positives: room appeared to have clean bedding. Location was good. WiFi OK. Negatives: dirty communal areas, toilet dirty, showers dirty, hair on the floor and animal poo in the floor. There appears to be people living for long-term in the hostel, who are were noisy at 5:30am.

Kitchen area even has a small Bluetooth speaker to connect your Spotify tunes. Life is good and this hostel is brilliant. Many thanks for the exceptional hospitality!

Reviewed By Patricia NI stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The executive room is big and clean. We got 2 rooms with connecting door. The staff is friendly. But when we go to the restaurant for breakfast, there is no food anymore and they didn't refill it.

Reviewed By supry_n1n1This hostel is at city center,we can go on foot +/- 10 minutes to deli park one of the new mall in Medan. Beside that it's also near center point mall and railway station.process check in and check out is fast, and the staff friendly. Overall it's good.but if want to improved according to me is cleanliness.

MM capsule hostel is the first hostel with a capsule concept in medan. Our place is 3.5km from city center, you can take bus to our hostel , the cost was Rupiah 30.000 (stop in 1st station Miyana Hotel Cemara Asri), we close to one of most visit place in Medan ~ CEMARA ASRI (inside the cemara asri they have alot of famous food, food truck in afternoon, foodcourt, and coffee shop , and dont forget drop to one of the biggest Maitreya temple in south asia and all of this just 1.8 KM from MM capsule hostel (you can walk or take gojek to there, the cost was Rp. 8.000 rupiah / way / gojek) 5 minute by gojek , 15-20 minute by walk Kualanamu International Airport just 30minutes. Infront our hostel we have many local food, minimart, and we have a bar in hostel, you can chill on hostel actually. our capsule hostel provide 10 capsule for mix dorm and 10 capsule for female dorm, the room price already include with a continental breakfast, and shuttle bus to city center (Merdeka Walk/Sun Plaza)

Reviewed By Fonnybuayai1.First impression was awesome... Security guy was super kind and real nice.. He always happy to open the gate for us even it's late at night. 2. Mega! Our receptionist can speaks good English and has a genuinely smile. 3. The hostel felt like home.. With modern design,huge, wide space and separated area for you to do your own thing. The room has shared toilet within the room type that you selected. Hot shower, clean beds and bath room. And Hairdryer for ladies. 4. We have fun time with Sandra (guest from Myanmar) and Mega (receptionist) cuz we watch ghost movie together at night, hang out together to the mall at noon. Then Mega helped us contact the grab driver that we left our bag on that car, in the bag has Passport, money, cards.. etc, Miracle happens when the taxi guy return us our stuff on time!! Bcuz we have to catch the flight at 8pm and the traffic was super super bad. We do really appreciate the kindness of Indonesian people here since the first day till the last day, we never met bad person. Most of them are really helpful, and generous. The impression was, they treat you like friends, so you will not feel like you are stranger here at MM hostel Medan. I will definitely came back to this place if I have a chance to visit Medan again... XOXO

Terrible Service
Reviewed By hopelesnomadHad a terrible experience with this hostel. The hostel is part of a cafe which is run by the same management. We have to go inside the cafe and behind the cafe kitchen is the reception for the hostel. During check-in, I inquired about the closing time of the hostel gate. They said it is open 24 hours. The second night I came late around 3 AM to the hostel. I was shocked to see that the main door of the cafe was locked. I kept ringing the doorbell. No one seems to be there to heed to it. Then I called the hostel front desk number. There's no one to pick it up too. I had made almost near to 50 phone calls and kept ringing the doorbell with no use. It was almost 30 minutes I waited hoping someone would be there to open. Then I realised it's not gonna happen. Then I was forced to book another hotel to sleep that night. The next morning when I told this to the front desk they were not even bothered to say a sorry or something. They were just keen on my checkout. The capsule may look good. But this is not the service expected from anyone.
