A Mansion to Call our Own

Reviewed By Havasupai

We just returned from a 3 night stay in Carovigno spending our days seeing the sites of Puglia. Carovigno is a great and central place for doing exactly this. We had the place to ourselves - check out the pictures on their website - its a mini-mansion! Breakfast was offered at John Pierre's bistrot a short distance away and that was very good indeed. Carovigno, in itself is a small town with just a few dining options but after long days of seeing Ostruni, Locorotondo, Lecce, Alberobello, Monopoli and Polignana, settling in for pasta and a beer on the main piazza was great. For the money, this pace can't be beat!!

The best spot you can find

Reviewed By adam_perjesi

We've never had such a great experience before. Barbara, our host was very kind. She welcomed us upon our arrival, gave us tips, where we can get the best home made olive-oil, and where to find the best places to eat local food. She also gave us some of their home made goodies, like jam or red wine. We're very thankful, that we've found this great spot. It's totally recommended to book a Trulli if you once visit Ostuni.

Masseria Scaledda

Beautiful and peaceful stay with many extra benefits (breakfast, welcome snacks, available sun beds at the beach)

Our stay in one word: amazing!! This honestly is an airbnb with hotel services, but a lot of freedom and privacy. We stayed in the La Vista “room”, which is basically a spacious and fully equipped apartment. It was a bit of a guess booking this without any reviews, but no worries this is a fully up and running accommodation. Also, if you (just like us) try to look this place up on Google maps and only see a gate and a sandy road, that is because it has a 1,2km driveway :). The services made our stay even nicer. The breakfast was really nice, going to the partnering beach with beds and an umbrella, and most of all the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here!
