Very basic near the highway
Reviewed By 198luciehWe have spent last two nights of our holiday at San Michele Apartmets. We arrived around 8 pm and we got “welcomed” by a guy who did not smile at all and looked mad. Our apartmet was ok, the cleaning could be better and also some parts could be fixed. I wanted to hang a towel in the bathroom and the hook felt down. The wifi did not work at all and the breakfast was very very poor, we have traveled a lot throught the Italy and this has been the worst breakfast. Very poor choice of food. I expect that everthing should be prepared so people can eat and not that you have to wait untill stuff from the freezer will be backed. No fruit at all. Small room so if you got there and tables were occupied, you had to wait for table and than wait for food. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so for dinner you have to go to Catanzaro Lido. We arrived on Sunday evening and we were very tired, so when we saw an arrow poiting to the restaurant next to these apartmets we were happy. Unfortunatelly this restaurant was not open...so we have to drive to the city. We would not stay here again.

Simple B&B in the heart of the Clcity
Reviewed By GregorRonThis is a simple bed and breakfast in the heart of Catanzaro. The rooms are normal but nicely decorated and in an ancient building. The entrance and main rooms recall an older time and remind you you're in the heart of the city. Breakfast could be improved because the offerings are basic. I paid 40 Euro.

Reviewed By Andrea VAbbiamo prenotato una settimana ad agosto direttamente con la struttura perché a detta loro conveniva ad entrambi non passare per (booking,trip advisor). Pagata la caparra abbiamo ricevuto diverse conferme dalla struttura di avvenuta prenotazione. All'arrivo ci viene comunicato che la nostra prenotazione non risultava. Nonostante il disagio creato il titolare in maniera alterata ha solamente proposto alternative come: reso della caparra o alloggio in un seminterrato. Imbarazzante

Each room can accommodate a minimum of 3 persons (double bed + 1 single bed) max 4 people (double bed + 2 single beds). The penthouse has a beautiful terrace overlooking the village and the Gulf of Squillace.

Perla del Borgo was the perfect retreat to experience this beautiful and magical place. It is perfectly situated in the town, on a quaint street with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and the sea. We highly recommended Perla del Borgo as a B&B with perfectly clean and well appointed rooms. The breakfast was a wonderful beginning to a day of exploring and learning about our family heritage. The family added to our experience with their warmth and hospitality. Beautiful and magical.
