This little restaurant in the mountain village of Sersale is without doubt one of the best we have visited in our European travels. We were advised to book to avoid missing out & went for lunch at 1.00pm, before the local rush. Very small with a nice atmosphere. We were told not to worry about ordering anything in particular & were not disappointed. The lady owner brought out several different anti pasto dishes followed by a couple of mains & I have to say the food was outstanding! Every dish left you wanting more but by the time we were finished we were very full & satisfied. The cost for 4 including house vino was just 40 Euro, great value. We recommend to anyone travelling near this village to make the effort to go. You will not be disappointed.

We had a mid-week family lunch here, and were treated to a most wonderful 2 hours of hospitality and culinary delight. Antonio gave us a warm welcome, and spent some time discussing the menu, given the ranges of tastes across the family this meant 3 of us had the Menu degustazione ( a wonderful choice and all 3 truly enjoyed the 5 or 6 courses), the other 2 children were easily catered for by Antonio who was more than happy to cook off menu (steamed veg and fish fillet, which she enjoyed choosing from a small but very fresh whole fish selection tray, alongside a pasta dish and shellfish for the other). It is very rare a venue gets the thumbs up from all 5 of us, well done Antonio and team, we look forward to coming back. It is a little out of the way but well worth the effort in finding.....

I have been eating fish in Calabria for ages, and the way fish is cooked and presented is always in the traditional manner...This restaurant offers something different: an innovative way of enjoying fish - more akin to the sushi concept - little portion and lots of tasters where the fish is mixed with a number of new ingredients - some of which are totally unknown to most of the calabresi.
Top marks for doing something different and very tasty!

The locals already know about this place, so this is for YOU, foodies on the search of an authentic Calabrese PANINO experience. You won't regret it. It's seems like the best Italian delis in the US came to study here. Problem is, by these standards they would have failed their exams... How to find the place? Drive on the highway from Lamezia airport towards Catanzaro, before the Settingiano exit, if you're in a hurry, stop on the highway behind the other truck, of hich the driver is having lunchbox and climb the ladder to get to the old stone structure deli. If you can't handle that take the regular route. Whatever you do, make sure you come here ONCE at least during your Calabrian stay. It will change your life. Ps| skip breakfast on that day!! Buon appetito...

While traveling thru Calabria I came across this wonderful eatery on Trip Advisor. We both order the recommended pasta al Forno. It was excellent! The cooked green vegetables and fresh buffalo mozzarella were very good. The ambiance was characteristic and the service were very good. Will I return again... YES!

Driving through narrow roads in the Mountains and across the narrow bridge we were totally taken by surprise by the beautiful Valley of the Agriturismo. Old Olive trees were welcoming us and we immidiately felt at home. Food and Wine was of a very High quality and adding fantastic hosts we had an evening we will never forget. Must admit I tried to get the recipie of ravioli with pistachio :-)
Will definitely go there next year.

What can I say as words are not good enough to describe this restaurant. Everything is amazing!!!! My fillet steak was the best steak I've ever tasted. The pasta dishes beyond words. The service was brilliant. The setting is just beautiful. When asked about my holiday my family's meal here is what I will remember first. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

We had a delicious ice cream and the workers there were very nice.
The only bad but not that bad thing was that they didnt have my favorite ice cream Amarena :(. I hope for the next time I can have the chance to try it.
