Excellent location and a true boutique hotel experience
Reviewed By Gbar4288The Place is located in a quiet back street close to all the main attractions of Cagliari. It is only a short walk to the citadel, there are many excellent restaurants a few minutes walk away and most guided tours outside the city start from Piazza Yenne, less than 5 minutes away. There is also a supermarket nearby. This is a beautifully refurbished old house in Stampace so the bedrooms are large and have 2 balconies overlooking the quiet streets below. The bathrooms are well set up. On the other hand there is nowhere to set up a full breakfast room (there is a fresh coffee station and comfortable sitting area) so breakfast is taken in a nearby cafe no more than 5 minutes walk away. Enrico, the host, is a very helpful, friendly and accommodating man in every aspect of one’s stay. We stayed for a week and had absolutely no issues with the venue.

Reviewed By 513daviderGreat boutique hotel with an unique charm. The location is great, very central and full of lovely little restaurants to have some lovely food lunch or dinner. The hotel is very spacious, beautiful clean rooms with a great attention to detail. The host is really welcoming and made us feel really special. The breakfast is also delicious and has a great variety, from croissants to fresh fruit, from eggs and cheese. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the main attractions and must see places as well as the main shopping area. For parking the train station is about 10 euros a day, and is only few minutes walk. Again, great place to stay for your Cagliari trip!

Reviewed By Gerhard KA great place to stay for enjoying both Cagliari and Sardegna. Spacious room with comfortable bed and bathroom. Excellent wifi, airco, fridge, tv and mood lights. Our room even had a nice little terrace to it. Additional equip and services in a comfi central area. Lovely support on any question or issue simply via whatsapp. Stylish small breakfast at luxury bakery down the road. so really an EXCELLENT place to stay.

Reviewed By JanaZCThe room was nice, modern looking, the balcony was nice, but overlooking the freeway, so one couldn't use it. The bathroom was also modern, but the shower was full of mould in corners. The AC worked well, bit noisy, but if you switched it off, you could hear the cars all the time. This place is close to the airport and was OK for one night, but I wouldn't want to stay here for longer.

Authentic, lovely stay
Reviewed By lindseybc3The apartments in this building were lovely, rustic and authentic. The bed was comfy, shower was great and we had an amazing view! Great kitchen with utensils, hairdryer and complimentary products for the bathroom. No safe but it’s a very secure building. Staff were extremely friendly and helped us book our taxi to the airport. Good location, walking distance to the centre and the from the centre to the marina which was where the buses are that can take you to Poetto Beach or the other way. Some lovely restaurants around, lively but no clubs or bars with upbeat dancey music.

IT'S A SCAM!
Reviewed By RobirocksI booked here on booking.com and informed the owner by phone call I was going to check-in late. He asked me to meet him at "his restaurant" (Osteria del Teatro) I went there, gave my documents and paid for the stay, then he offered to drive me to the place. He took me to a completely different address, a property in Via Bandello 48 instead of the original address, drop me there and drove away The building was a crappy condo from '70, I got in anyways following his instructions The bed was full of stains and hairs, walls as well: the paints were chapped. The towels were old, the bedding smelled also like cigarettes and pets and was dirty. Nothing around, no water, not even a cup, no tea/coffee, no sign of anything to drink or eat at all. It looked nothing like the pictures on the website, was simply uninhabitable, totally unsanitary. I told him I wasn't going to stay there but he declined any refund and insisted that the room looked fine. So he kept my money for 2 nights, which I didn't use any. He even reported me as "no show" on booking.com to prevent me from leaving a review. Booking.com couldn't assist as the conversation where I informed him about the late check-in took place out of the in-app chat. Please stay away from this property, not worth it. Can't believe the website allowed such a dishonest person to scam tourists.

We are only walking distance from most monuments in the city, we are situated in the middle of shopping area and most certainly, you will find what you are looking for, as in bars & restaurants, where you can enjoy the typical delicious Sardinian dishes! The area is well connected by public transports, the train stations and the Harbour is less than 1 km away. You can reach the Poetto beach in about 10 minutes by bus. And, of course, rent a car discover the beauties of Sardinia. Our B&b is ideal for those that are looking to enjoy a peaceful holiday in the heart of the city, but also for those who want to enjoy the warm sun of our beautiful island.

Wonderful stay
Reviewed By rdcjrWe rented two suites and they were great! There were 5 of us and we were able to hang out and drink wine and have snacks in the very spacious living room. The apartment is fresh and clean and has everything you need for comfort. It is conveniently located in the historic district and a short distance to many great restaurants. Augusta was very accommodating and provided me with great information of things to do, where to go, and where to eat. I ask a lot of questions prior to arrival whenever I travel and Augusta was very kind in responding to all our needs prior to arrival. We loved it and found it very relaxing.
