We were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to come for dinner based on hotel recommendation.
Firstly there are no water views even though restaurant is across the road from the beach. Service was a bit slow and disorganized. Waitress spoke great English though. It's a small venue so you need to book otherwise you will be turned away.
Nice menu options though. Octopus was delicious. The Amberjack cooked in a bag was also nice.
Worth visiting if your after a nice seafood dinner.

This restaurant scores high on Tripadvisor for a reason!
We were one of the first guests in (make a reservation, the place is tiny!) and it went well from the start. One of the waitresses was fluent in English and very helpful. She recommended that Degustazione del Giorno (tasting of the day), which turned out to be no less than 8 plates with delicious seafood snacks (and cheese!), from octopus to lobster. We are not big on seafood, but this was really top of the bill! And it was only € 25 for two! The plates just kept on coming. We were glad we had not ordered a pasta dish, in fact the fish main course was redundant, but that was pre-ordered so we ate it anyway.
Excellent meal, stylish place, nice staff, very decent prices! GO!

The only minus about being vegan is that you miss pizza especcialy if you live in Italy! But only before you discover Mamopizza! With their homemade vegan mozzarella and infinite choices of ingrediences your only worries are that you not gonna have enough time to taste them all! Plus excellent service and free vegan chocolate pizza in the end made our evening become vegan dream!!

The upmarket local wine recommended was excellent and their knowledge of the wines on their lengthy list considerable. We weren’t too hungry but had one of each of the four “small plate” speciality dishes, each of which was excellent in its way. The very strong goat cheese was exceptional, at €6 for a spoonful, and the little pies with potato and cheese also delicious. The place was busy and deserved to be, with an attractive counter of cooked meats, mostly served on delicious looking large mixed platters.

I love this place Everytime when i come back to Cagliari Pizzeria Floris it is my must visit and eat pizza. This time i choosed "Barbaricina" (sugo, mozz, salsiccia, porcini, crudo) was so delicious. no words to describe... :) It's not just the ingredients that make these pizzas so tasty, it's the way they're combined and cooked
The pizzas are prepared quickly for mine i waited only 6 mins ☺
Staff is veeeery nice, they welcoming you with smile ☺☺

We had a hankering for steaks with fries etc . A bit tired of pasta etc. My partner had the fillet steak accompanied with a wonderful peppercorn sauce and I went for the 350 g Angus Americano. Saw some good looking burgers go past to other tables. An interesting wine list with some well priced Dorgali reds .
Great steaks and service and reasonably priced.
Note they have horse on the menu.

Stumbled across this unassuming place looking for somewhere to get my hands on some Sardinian wine. Look no further, you'll find everything you need right here under one roof. This place sells some really great quality stuff at reasonable prices.
The owner is v.knowledgeable about meat, cheese and wine, he explained what the heck a mirto berry was and gave me the opportunity to try some mirto jam before buying (it's a quirky flavour but a fantastic pairing with some of the cheeses in the shop).
Next time I'm in Cagliari I hope to return here try out one of the meat platters, they're a carnivore's dream!

Bumped into this place during our visit and turned out to be a good surprise. The staff was very friendly and showed us all the specialty sandwiches that are not on the menu. We ordered a few sandwiches that they recommended and they were delicious. Glad we came here! Oh and free Wi-Fi too :)

Bombas is a must eat place if you love burgers, they're created with Sardinian finesse and truly delicious. The restaurant is gorgeous, its in a Roman crypt, the staff are lovely and the food is truly amazing. They let us pick the meat we wanted and the fillings plus their chips were so tasty - I had to 'share' my husbands although I had a lovely salad with my burger.
Make sure you get there before nine o'clock because the place was full when we left at 21:30 and it was a Thursday night.

It 'a new restaurant we opened in april2015 it is very nice, and clean, with about 50 seats with air conditioning and air recycling well-spaced tables of diners privasi abiding neighbors. The chef patron Salvatore Cappadonna without letting pride, work in catering to the paper for 40 years and assimilating techniques suitable to guarantee freshness first marriage of taste and flavor, appealing to the palate. We are certain of having done something to please speak a bit of the restaurant We wait.(all we speake English)

A bit out of the old city center, but don't miss it!
The name refers to the two Islands, Sardinia and Sicily (where the chef is from). The staff is not very comfortable with English, but the chef is all the more so, so he willingly came out of the kitchen to explain the menu and make recommendations. And they were good!
You can see and taste that he and his team love to cook.
